Hindoge #36 - Common

Postby †Count D† » Sun Mar 13, 2016 7:30 am

• What is a Hindoge? •
Hindoges originated in Africa as an attempt to create a hybrid
hunting dog. This combination was a success, resulting in a cross
between a Dog and Hyena. This cross made the canines more cunning,
there ears bigger and jaws stronger. The dog cross added more of a
domesticated side to the Hindoges, This causing them to be more
obedient and take orders more easily, also making them easier to identify
Compared to wild hyenas. These dogs soon spread all over the world
As domesticated canines.

A little brindle/tiger themed adopt. Yes, the pupils are different sizes! The story section of the form must be filled out with HOW this happened to the poor Hindoggie.

I will choose the winner in approximately a week.

This little gal is now owned by TwistedArtz

Chitty is a quirky little hindoge, she goes from skittish and hiding from you under tables to try to climb ONTO the table for affection or your attention. Chitty tends to collect rocks or objects she deems as pretty, and buries them out back in a hole filled with other like objects, her owner calls it the hoard. She has a tendency to stumble and stutters when she makes noise, almost sounding like a case of the hiccups. But mentioning that makes hed flee and hide away for a good handful of hours till the teasing is over. Giving her biscuits, treats, or even a spoonful of peanut butter is sure to win her over and make her adore you.
Story
Chitty's previous owners weren't very thoughtful or even really intelligent about owning a pet, in all honesty they probably shouldn't have bought a hindoge at all. They got the small brindled-tiger hindoge when she was nothing more then a pup, her eyes barely open and still figuring out how to properly walk. Being so small, everything seemed much bigger and hiding beneath cabinets or chairs became a comfort thing, chairs meant safety. Now a few weeks old, almost two whole months, Chitty had still never seen what laid beyond the big oak door her owners disappeared through.
But ever the easily frightened pup, she hid when it opened and wouldn't come out till it was firmly shut. The human woman soon decided it was time to house train the hindoge, she was bought to be a guard dog after all and would soon be spending most of herdays and nights out doors. So the day was spent fencing in the yard, and moving all the chairs out from for the night before Chitty was dropped outside on the porch with the door locked. Whimpering, the hindoge pressed against the door confused as she took in her surroundings. The shriek of a bat sent her fleeing into the night, wailing and crying before hitting the porch step and toppling down, banging her head a few times in the process. The commotion caused the human to come out, expecting an intruder, but upon seeing the pup with a bloodied head he quickly took her to the vet and left her there. She was diagnosed with a slight concussion, her eye permanently dialated, and a noticeable speech/bark impediment. She stayed at the vet for a good three months before being adopted by a person who owned another hindoge named Maen.

Username: Birman Kitty
Name: Dante
Gender: Male
Personality:
Dante is a sly thing. He loves to play tricks on other hindoges, he loves to roughhouse, and he loves to get a little too aggressive while playing. Dante is a tad bit bigger than the usual hindoge, due to this he has the upper hand during play fighting. He can usually bring his opponent down within a matter of seconds, and easily subdue them. Considering his large size, he does get gawked at sometimes.

Name: Vatnla
Gender: Female
Personality: Vatnla, commonly called La, is a kind and gentle soul. She's known for her love of water, and can be seen by a body of water at all times. Her friends have stayed with her because she's a loyal Hindoge, a great companion and pack-mate. Though she is timid and shy, she uses her quiet nature to spend time listening, rather than talking. Some could say she's wiser then her years, and as calm as the ocean blue. However, when she is angered, she can turn into a powerful tsunami of a canine, though this is rare. Her timid nature often prevents her wild side from coming free. La has dreams to one day learn how to swim so well that she can cross the ocean. However, her shyness holds her back from this goal, as she doesnt have the heart to leave her few friends that she can be proud around. Though, perhaps one day her weakness could become her strength, and her close friends can encourage her to achieve her goals.
Story:
When she was a young pup, La knew nothing but the land she was born in. She loved the land, but she wasnt quite at home. La would spend days searching for something to do, but would end up bored and feeling pointless. Thus, her hobby of watching the large big cats that lives in the area she was born, central Asia, began. A lone tiger happened to come by one day, and their similarities in colors amazed the young, timid pup. Following the tiger for the day, La discovered her first body of water. The little lake became the place La returned to every day, learning to swim here and even befriending the tiger. However, a problem remained. La couldn't see under the water. The tiger shared a tale of creatures who could train their eyes to focus underwater. Filled with the most determination La had ever felt in her quiet little life, she began her training. After several months, she finally achieved this goal, and was able to see under the water, clearly. There was a price, however. Her pupils have become damaged, and now are always lopsided sizes. This doesnt bother La, because her passion for swimming is much greater then her passion for looking normal.
