The amount of time that has passed still shocks me to this day. We met simply because your mother was looking for a pen pal for you and my mother emailed her about you and me becoming pen pals. When we were younger, I recall coming online nearly every night to talk to you, hoping to catch you at a good time. Sometimes we had really long conversations (the best part was when we got to use our microphones to talk or video chat for a few minutes until your bandwidth ran out <3) and we would squeal over the horses we loved so much or crushes or this one person I was dating. In addition to all of the excited, giddy, and pretty crazy conversations we had, we were there for each other. Last year, you and I lost so much in our lives and struggled throughout the year. I wish to thank you for your amazing support when times were tough. I cannot believe how much we've matured over the years, and it's wonderful, but at the same time I do not get to talk to you as much anymore. I find myself reminiscing about all the things we used to do and wishing to talk to you more again...
You have been one of the most amazing friends I could ask for, and I haven't even met you in real life. Sometimes I really wish we didn't live on opposite sides of the world, and that I could go and ride horses with you like we always wanted. You are currently the closest friend I've ever had online and I’m pleased we connected so well. We're more than just pen pals now -- we're practically sisters. I love you. <3
