Ziggy absolutely is obsessed with nature. With thoughts like a photographer and the energy of a puppy, she mostly is outside and day-dreaming. She loves watching the clouds and to see what shapes they make, before taking a picture of the fantastic formations they create either together or simply alone. Zig also is fascinated with grasslands, prairies and fields. She loves how if you get their in the right season and right time of day, you can catch the grass extremely green with the sun setting behind it, illuminating the colors in the sky and in the grass,

'Nature is unpredictable!'
Ziggy loves how you never know what nature will look like later on. A whole mountain could become either a deep valley or a grassland in a century, or volcanoes could erupt and make a whole different continent. But, another thing, is how many pretty things are in nature. Whether it's a brook, a creek, a ocean, a forest, a prairie or even a mesa, any time of day could cause a gorgeous scenery.
Personality:
Ziggy is adventurous and quite brave and humble. She is willing to jump into any situation, mandatory or not. Ziggy is always helpful and true to her word, making her a loyal friend and companion. Other than that, she is dreamy, fiesty and sweet. Oh, and energetic.

How she feels about nature: Thiosa has always felt a deep attachment to nature that nothing can shake. She feels it deep in her bones, like she belongs there in the quiet, soothing arms of the earth. It lives and breaths under her paws, moves to the touch of her claws and answers back when she wallows in incurable loneliness. All in all nature is her mother, and Thiosa has learned from a young age to respect the earth, nature, and all things she has to offer. It's been around far longer than she has, and to see it destroyed would devastate both her body and her soul.

Favorite thing about/in nature: This Viscet's favorite thing - while there are many things she loves about nature - are the granite quarries left behind from when the humans had scarred the earth for her granite. Vast pits of cleared-away stone give way to startlingly clear water she likes swimming in when the weather is desirable. Its fresh water attracts animals of all kinds, giving her an opportunity to see those she's never met before. This doesn't make the quarries safe however, as they're a hundred feet deep with jagged, dangerous points at varying heights. She's always wary when she enters these quarries, but it doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy them.

Pastimes: There are many pastimes Thiosa enjoys like quarry swimming and sunbathing, but her favorite by far is carving. Her claws can be clumsy at times but she finds pride in her work, especially when she can give a dying tree a beautiful form in its afterlife.

Care: When ever possible Thiosa likes to take in wounded or abandoned animals. She has no qualms about getting her hands dirty to save their lives. There are times where she's too late to help them and they go back to the arms of the earth, but other times she helps them grow strong and, when they're good enough on their own, she can watch them go. That goodbye isn't forever, as a lot of her refugees come back to visit her, bringing her gifts and affection.

How does he feel about nature?

Hah! That's like asking you how you feel about being trapped in a bathtub of writhing, slimy insects!

Fence, oddly enough, is not a fan of nature in the slightest. Where one may see a beautiful forest scenery, he sees millions of bugs rushing about, remains of slaughtered animals, and rotting earth before his eyes. Fence hates nature so much, that he had actually built himself a fence, thus the name, in which he lived inside until Nabi found him and convinced him to come with her to the pack. After joining, he promptly built up another fence around his den and now uses it as a sanctuary from the creepy things around him. Just don't tell him that insects can still crawls through.
Fence's hatred of nature seems to be his most interesting quality, and his greatest downfall. This hatred makes hunting rather difficult and often makes him the center of teasing and mockery, especially from Flame. This fiery Viscet has picked up a centipede, his least favorite of the insect world, and chased him about with it. Poor Fence was so mortified that he refused to leave his den for three days claiming that if he were to all the centipedes in the world would fly over, yes, fly, and attack him. Fence's hatred of nature can often be quite unreasonable.

He chased me. With a centipede. Why would anyone chase someone with that?! Why would anyone even pick one up?!?!

Despite living in a pack, Fence prefers to be along as he believes other viscets will carry insects to him and those insects will attack him. Because of this, he has built his shelter rather far from the pack, but still within its boundaries. How does he manage to sleep in the middle of nature if he hates it so much? It's simple. He dug up all the nature around him. When Fence first arrived, he fervently dug up every scrap of grass and flowers up until the ten foot radius of his den was no more than dirt. He then stomped on it until it was flat as stone to prevent any insects from climbing out and any new plants from growing. As crazy as it sounds, this theory actually worked for him and his den is now a nature free sanctuary made of rocks that were scrubbed clean and a fence made out of polished tree branches.

The fence keeps happiness inside and evil out.

Why does Fence hate nature so much? Many often turn to a tragic back story of some sort where a young, large eared Viscet is left out in the woods at night to fend for himself and witnesses all the horrors of nature for the first time and on his own. While that story could make more sense than what really happened, it's not true in the slightest way. Fence's hatred of nature actually came from the first centipede he had seen. He was young, his ears were even larger than his head, though that's hard to imagine, and he was bright-eyed and curious about everything. The centipede was the first insect he had seen. It was climbing a tree in a swiveling pattern when he saw it. At first, curiosity drew him near, but when he saw the massive jaws and extreme amount of legs, the viscling ran away yipping and squeaking in fear. Since that day, Fence has refused anything that involves nature.

Nature is the unholy offspring of death, germs, and nightmares rolled up into one shimmering green package.

Why is it that a centipede along managed to start this burning hatred? Well, it's quite simple when you think about it. As Fence once said, "Centipedes are the serial killers of the insect world!" and, "They have way too many legs for a single insect! It's just messed up!" While this may seem like a pathetic excuse a child would make about not going to school, it is the foundation of his hatred and is actually true. Centipedes are known for killing other insects, sometimes for no reason at all, and have many legs, not to mention the pincers. Why not millipedes? Those things aren't cold blooded murderers, though he still isn't a fan of them.
Now, the centipede alone wasn't the reason he still despises nature today, but it sure did start it. Every day he went outside, he would discover some sort grotesque, massive insect with pincers or fangs the size of his little toe. These things always seemed to be everywhere he turned, and some even chased him! When Fence first encountered a Camel Spider, it chased him out of soul desire to stand in his shadow and cool off, but all Fence saw was a blood thirst monster that was sprinting after him at 25mph with fangs that made up one-third of its body.
It doesn't take much explaining after that to show why he hates insects, but what about the plants? As you read, he had torn up the ground around his den to not only prevent insects, but plants as well. What is the purpose behind this? That is simple. Fence hates plants because plants nurture nature and care for all of the demons that live inside it. He believes that if a plant were to grow in his territory, an insect or creature would break through his fence just to devour it before devouring him. As he said, "plants are the summoners of everything cruel and evil that lurks in the shadows and stands in the bright sun with bloodlust in their cruel eyes!"
Fence doesn't take kindly to plants of any sort, or insects, or even creatures. Once, when Fence had finally managed to leave his sanctuary, he encountered a deer. The poor Viscet didn't even wait to investigate. Instead, he turned tail and booked it straight back to his den, curling up inside and covering his ears while whispering nonsense about demons that lurked outside his fence. Even rabbits are subject to his hatred. The first one he saw had slowly crawled up to him, only to be smacked into next week by a baseball bat-like powerful tail sweep.

Dislikes

Large Ears

This is actually quite comical to me,
as Fence has ears that rival an elephant in
proportion. He still, however, believes that
large ears are one of the weirdest things he's
ever seen and doesn't like creatures that bear
them. Just don't show him his reflection.

Centipedes

Fence actually doesn't like any insect, but
centipedes stand out as his absolute least favorite.
If you've never seen one before, don't look it up.
These monsters are the unholy offspring of
serial killers, spider corpses, and every demon
that lurks below. They have long, thin bodies
that are encrusted with crunchy, thick armor
and bear over a hundred legs, a pair for each
vertebrae. On the tail, to long feelers sway about
while on the head, two massive pincers are prepared
to crush and destroy anything in its path. To
make things better, their poisonous too.

Flame

This should be self-explanatory. One, the
psychopath wanted to race me. When I declined, he
picked up a centipede and chase me with it! Seriously,
who does that?! With my big ears I could hear it flailing
and it was just so gross! Second, he's a complete and
total jerk to me! Seriously, he's always teasing me,
trying to rip down my fence, or mocking me!
Nanook claims that its all in fun and games but I beg
to differ!

Flying Things

Imagine your worst land nightmare.
Now give it wings, the ability to fly faster than you
can blink, and extremely potent venom! Seriously
nature is messed up! As if land insects weren't
scary enough, now you give them hidden
wings and the ability to paralyze creatures! Why
would you do that?! Why?!

Fence is not too bad, and is actually pretty entertaining! He gets scared so easily that he has actually started running whenever I come close! It's the best thing! Why? Races!! The instant that the big eared viscet starts running, the race is on! Now... Looking around his perspective of nature and fear, he's a pretty nice guy. He is cool to be around when he's not angry or scared and tells some of the best, most elaborate stories you will ever hear!

Fence is something else entirely... He has an odd, strict way of viewing the world and seems determined to not see it in any other way. When it comes down to walks or even pack meetings, he throws these tantrums and refuses to go... Still, he's nice to be around from time to time and does tell cool stories.

Fence is adorable, stubborn, bull-headed, and funny. I was the one that found him and I am now the closest friend here, though he doesn't like it when I touch the fence...

Fence is the coolest, most funnest, bestest, and awesomest viscet I have ever met! He is so confident and bold in everything he does and doesn't like to be subject to anyone's command! While he may refuse to leave the fence, he is really cool when from time to time.
