Mona is a very introverted and mysterious
horse. She prefers to stay indoors by
herself and contemplate life. Weird, no?
Even though Mona seems distant and
lonely, she seems to have a soft spot for
Children with disabilities. So much so
that Mona's owner has made her a
certified therapeutic horse in the
program the local hospital! Mona
loves to take her disabled kids out
to the beach and go swimming. Mona
has found one special girl, Ella. Ella is
blind in one eye, and deaf in the opposite
ear, but this doesn't stop her from
winning competitions on the back of
Mona. Ella has one other problem: she
can't communicate well. The accident
that cost the girl her hearing also caused
brain damage, and Ella relies on Mona to
understand her and convey what she needs.
Ella and Mona are inseparable, to the point
where Ella has to be physically dragged
out of Mona's stall!
