Extras(2 MAX):--Kevin's Story--
Have you ever been to a renaissance festival? If you have, then you know how absolutely awesome they are! Well, what would be even more awesome than getting a job as a knight?! You get to joust, have sword fights, wear armor, and even talk in those 'olden' ways! I tell you, the moment I saw the add in the paper for a seasonal job at the renaissance faire, I lept at the chance! I had always been teased because of my appearance. Such feminine colors for a male, I know! Personally I like pink, but it seems others don't quite agree with me. Ever since I was young, my siblings would say I was girly, teasing me and poking fun at me. But! You'd never forget their faces every time I proved them that I wasn't 'girly'! And this time, I would prove them how not 'girly' I was by becoming a knight! I could imagine it now! A fantastic battle! Two jousters take aim and...SMASH! One falls off their horse while splinters fly in all directions! The knight hits the ground and a battle ensues, the fallen knight somehow managing to get the other off of his horse and pinned on the ground! A struggle takes place and...gasp! The helmet is knocked off of one of the knights and...In slow motion my beautiful face comes into view, burning fury and dedication in my eyes....Without my helmet...I take on the other knight and after a short struggle, I triumph! Roses are thrown and I get to kiss the hand of the princess! Oh yes, what a fantastic dream this was! Or, it would have been...My interview went very well, that much was certain. However...as roles were delt and costumes handed out. I watched one knight....then two...take their place and head off for training. As I was finally approached, I looked into the arms of the recruiter. Purple and silver frill? Oooh! Was I going to be the king?! My eagerness rose and I remember the smile I had, probably goofy looking on my pink face. Nope, not a king. As the recruiter unfolded my costume, my mouth fell open. A dress!? A DRESS!? Seriously?! I would have stormed off, then, but....well....Okay...so...the pay was good. I got free food, free shows, free admission....Plus I got to be a part of the one and only....Renaissance faire!
Being a princess....might not be so bad. Right?
So long as no one I know sees me....
(Art by me...I can't draw clothes for anything. T_T Don't laugh!)
(There would be a slit along the back of the dress for the frill. The tail is under the dress. I kind of imagine a Viscet princess would use her tail to give the dress a sort of 'blossom' look and use it to make the dress 'flow' around her as she walked. That's just how I imagine it though.)
