interesting fact;; zayn has two main obsessions in his life. these two, lightly named "hobbies,"

[ his first impression to others ] first impressions are made in a seven-second window. zayn is quite
adept at giving that seven second time frame to anyone and everyone. he's quite quick, and hardly
ever makes eyes contact with strangers. he is seen as aloof and distant, hard to talk to and even
a bit confusing at first. most don't bother with him. and, being the introverted guy that he is,
zayn doesn't take it upon himself to make any introductions. instead, he's left it up to the few
brave individuals that have approached him. it's a bit of a shame on passersby and zayn, too, since
the lovely boy has quite the sweet and calm personality... unless he's discussing his hobby, of course.
[ how his friends know him ] if his closest fellows had to pick one word to describe zayn, it would
mostly likely be "obsessive." however, they also know better. one gentle reminded of "hey, I'm not
in the mood for your theories," quickly sends zayn apologizing, and also changing the subject
to something that the other might be more interested in. he may not be around much, but this
viscet is a sweetheart; loyal and kind to the very end. he never has a cruel word to say, even
when confronted with a conflicting opinion to his own. instead, he stays level-headed and calm,
and it has become nearly impossible to even imagine zayn raising his voice in anger.
[ how he knows himself ] zayn prides himself on at least knowing the basic quirks of his own
personality. he knows he can easily be drawn into something he finds interest it, and also knows
that since it makes him happy, he shouldn't find guilt in it -- the only part of his self that confuses
him. why be embarrassed about an interest or hobby? and yet, he is.
besides that, zayn knows, while he may not be the brightest of the bunch, he is still quite
smart. he is skilled at staying calm under pressure or stress, and a master at debate. this
might be because of the careful thought process that goes behind every word. that and the
fact that he does extensive amount of research on what he's interested in. it's just plain
humiliating to be proven completely wrong in something you're interested in, now isn't it?
another trait that zayn prides himself in is his observation and listening skills. being the quiet
one that he is, zayn has heard many a conversation from others and knows little secrets and
facts. he'd never tell them to anyone, of course. that's even creepier!
his observation skills are his favorite out of the two. he's quick to react to movements, and always
studies the ground in front of him... whether that be for tracks in the dirt, or event for a unique rock.
