Throughout Cordero's foal-hood, his parents raised him to be stoic; to never let anything slip, and only to befriend the best pedigree. The little girl who owned him also had a lamb, a tiny black one. At first, he resented the shorthaired beast. But over the years the small ewe grew on Cordero, and he would now do anything to protect her from harm. On new years' day, the little girl gave the stallion a thick, wool scarf, mottled with deep blues and teals, and the phrase '2016' on it. Now every chilly new year, Cordero lends the lamb the cloth.

It was New Year's Eve, finally a start to a new year. Róża Walked around the outside area greeting the others who decided to come to her family New Year's Eve party, the all smiled and munched down on the delicious food her mother had prepared.

A large sheet was in the center of the area, with a projector placing a count down clock on the sheet. It was almost 11:50 pm and everyone was getting excited. She looked over at her father and some other stallions setting up the main fire works that were suppose to go off at midnight.

Minutes ticked past and before she knew it, it was almost midnight. Róża and the other guests gathered in the field where the clock was counting down the seconds, it was the last minute and you could feel the excitement in the crip air.
"5,4,3,2,1! Happy new year!" Everyone shouted and the fireworks went off, everyone looked up in awe as the fireworks exploded and caused an aray of colors to fill the air.

Róża looked up in the air and smiled happily, hopefully this year would bring her happiness and joy.
