Abaddon is a quiet and intimidating fellow. He doesn't talk
much and comes across as a brute. However, he is the sort to
assist anyone that may need help. Consider him a large,
teddy bear.

"Many years ago when I was just a child, I wandered too far from home. I wanted to play with the "canine-like" creatures I had once seen playing in the forest nearby. I was naive and did not know that it could be dangerous for one as small as myself. It was not a smart idea on my part, I admit, but I met a great being that day. I had been wandering for what felt like hours in the forest searching for these creatures on that said day. I searched everywhere I could. I searched by the streams, in the tall grasses, in the hollowed, fallen trees. I even tried climbing the great oak trees without much success. I was determined to find these pretty animals.
It was about the middle of the day when I came across a large lake. I took this opportunity to rest my little feet and sat by the waters edge. Minutes after I had sat to rest, there was a loud growling sound from behind me. Scared, I turned my head to find a huge bear standing there. The great beast lifted to it's back legs, swiping its front paws in the air threateningly. Drool formed at the corners of its mouth as it eyeballs me. I let out a loud cry of fear, trying to scramble to my feet. I did not realize, however, that I was trying to stand in the mud that lined the lake shore. My feet began slipping in the mess as I began to slide towards the lake in my struggle. The bear returns to its four paws and slowly starts coming for me. I could see the hunger in its eyes as it stood over me. Tears began to stream down my face as the realization hit me....I was done for. I clamped my eyes shut as the bear lifted its paw, ready to strike. All of a sudden, I heard the bear let out an awful noise. I opened my eyes to see a canine like critter tackling and battling the bear. My mouth dropped as I watched the battle. It was one of them! It was one of the creatures I had been looking for! And it had come to save me! I watched in awe as the creature nimbly avoided each of the bears attacks. It then lunges forward biting deep into the bear's side. The bear lets out a terrible cry before retreating. The creature had saved me and defeated the bear! I let out a sigh of relief but things were not over yet.
As I tried to get up again, I slid even deeper, the lake water soaking my shoes and pants as I was slowly
pulled into the water. As I began to sink, I gasped for air, waving my hands above me hoping to grab something.
I was unable to swim at that time so I sunk much like a rock. Water began to fill my lungs as I felt as though I were suffocating. It wasn't long before my whole world went dark as I faded from consciousness. As was sure that I had taken my last breath. But hours later, I woke upon the shore. I remember being cuddled up to something warm and fluffy. I snuggled closer to it before freezing and opening my eyes. The creature that had saved me once, had jumped in after me. He stayed to make sure that I was alright. When he saw that I had finally woke up, he stood, making me whine from the lack of warmth. He nuzzled me, trying to get me to stand. I stumbled to my feet, breathing heavily. Seeing how weak I was, he scooped me up onto his back. I clung to him as he suddenly took off. I closed my eyes and held on tight, not sure where he was taking me.
It didn't take long before the creature slowed his pace. The sound of people crying out echoed through the woods. I opened my eyes and looked around. I kept hearing someone calling my name. Mommy? I climbed off the creatures back and wandered towards the cries. My mom and most of the town was searching the woods for me. Her hair and clothes were a total mess as I could make out the distraught look on her face. She must have been so worried. I ran towards her, giving her a big hug. I then began to tell her the story of what happened but when I went to point out my rescuer, he was gone. He saved my life twice and while I have yet to see him again, I will never forget him."
Along with Raikou and Suicune, Entei it is one of the legendary beasts resurrected by Ho-Oh after the burning of the Brass Tower. Out of the three beasts, Entei is said to represent the flames that burned the Brass Tower.
