to take part. To Enitan, flying opens up the world to
get a better view of things and gives him the freedom
he so desperately craves; to make mistakes, to live.

How Do They Feel About Flying?: Flying has always been Ricario's dream. He would often look up at the sky, watching the vultures lazily glide by on the hot winds. He's tried flying almost every day, but every one of his 'ideas' fail. He once even tried jumping off of a large boulder to fly, which then just led him to fall. He has made quite the amount of friends in the bird population, though. Most just look at him strangely because of his vain attempts to fly, but he doesn't care. Even the simple idea of flight gets his mind going, though. (wip)

ＨＯＮＥＳＴＬＹi hate it. everyone thinks that a flightless animal would never understand the rush and exhiliration of being able to fly, and they're right! until you take a wrong turn and wind up in a plane 30,000 feet in the air. i wish that i could say that it was awful and that i never want to do it again, but unfortunately i loved it. it would be so much easier if i could just tell you that i didn't crave it every single waking moment.

but you're confused, i just told you i hate it. let's put it this way: do you know how awful it is to fall in love with something but never be able to have it? imagine that you love singing so much that you fear someday your heart will burst, but you were born mute. or that you would love nothing more than to hear an orchestra play, yet you are deaf. i am in love with soaring through the air and i was born without wings. how tragic, that one must find their soulmate just to have them ripped from your grasp.

the birds fly overhead and they taunt me. they sing their songs of how wonderful it is to feel the wind between their feathers and beneath their wings while dipping and diving through the air effortlessly. and here i am, paws tethered to the ground and condemned to a life i must walk through. to fly is to be free. maybe that's the reason i feel like my heart is trapped within a cage that will never be unlocked. the key? that unobtainable sensation of wings stretched out far and wide, holding me aloft as i dance above the clouds and bathe in sunsets.

so you ask me how i feel about flying? i have never adored nor loathed something more in my life.

i will never have my freedom.

i will never have my happiness.

only in my dreams, will i feel the true love that shattered my heart.
