We recently got an urgent call from the local authorities. It seems that they were called in after a recent sighting of a very skinny, odd-looking horse left out in the freezing cold. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a huge Kleeare stable to be abandoned. The Kleeare were simply left, some in the pasture, some trapped in their stalls. And all extremely emaciated. We responded quickly, arriving at the stable and assessing the condition of each Kleeare. The sight shocked us, but we did not fret. We brought each one of the Kleeare back to our place, where they were evaluated by our veterinarian. Some cases were more extreme than others, but all of them had the chance to be saved. This Kleeare seems to be in much better health than the others, but she is extremely shy and easily provoked. It is thought that she was mistreated/abused in the past.

It was a bright sunny day and the birds where chirping and the horses neighing, as this 13 year old girl drove with her mother to the Kleeare stables to pick out anew mare for her to help with. As they drove up the ranch the girl who was 13 named Anna squealed as they got to the barn. As her mother parked the car and shut it off, Anna undid her seatbelt as she opened and closed the door as she half walked half sped walk. Her mom finally caught up to Anna as the owner greeted them and walked them into the barn to this palomino splash mare who was skinny as the mare saw the people and backed away to the back of her stall and turned so her rump was facing the people as she was shy the owner told us as Anna nodded. "I want this one!" she said softly as her mom gave her a 'No' look but Anna said yes and the owner of the stables looked at her mom and her mom sighed " Fine" Anna's mother said as Anna smiled and hugged her mom " Thanks Mom, I love you!" she said happily as she looked at the owner" So when can I take her out?" she asked as the owner got the halter and lead rope and walked into the stall with a sugar cube and got the halter on the shy mare. As the owner led the mare around and said "Her name is Shyloe" as the owner handed Anna the lead rope and Shyloe laid her ears back as Anna led her out of the barn into the round pen as she smiled at the mare and she reached up to pet the mare as the mare shyed away "come on Shyloe, I won't hurt you" Anna said softly as the mare still tried backing up. Anna sighed as she dropped the rope and she was sad as she started walking out of the pen she heard Shyloe walking up to her as she stood in her place as a Palomino head came over her shoulder as she smiled and she reached her hand up to pet the mare but she moved her head as Anna touched her shoulder and she smiled at Shyloe didn't do a thing. She loved Shyloe the first time she saw her. She smiled "we will get over your head shy" Anna promised as she had a new friend.
