Why should they be chosen to be the adoptive parents? What makes them ideally suited for taking care of this child?: Both Max and Vynas would be very good parents for this plumie. Vynas's personality is very sweet and loving and along with Max's precise personality they would make great parents. If she were to have a problem or worry that she was hiding in, Max would be able to see it and try to help her out. Vynas would be the sweetest mother you could find. She would always be helping her out and making sure that she was having the best time possible. Neither Max or Vynas would spoil this plumie for they do not want to have a child with a sour personality. They would also not be very strict with her. They would certainly have some ground rules of how to act as to not be rude but at the same time make sure they are not being mean. If she were to do something wrong they would not yell at her or make her feel worse than she already does. Over all they would be the best couple to take care of this pluime.

Design requests: Tufts of fur by their paws <33 (like your child but fluffier) -- Light colors -- um... I really like deers?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Clarification: Throughout this whole thing she will be called "She" or "Her" (just because I dont have a name lol)
Image
Her personality is unlike many of the other orphans. At her orphanage, they taught everyone to be friendly and a little energetic so some families might like them better. She never listend to them know that her personality was just fine the way it was. She is quite shy and does not talk a lot, but once you get to know her she's an amazing plumie. Her friend, Kassandra has changed her personality since she met her. Before she met Kas, she would only talk when absolutley nessisary. Kas's very warm energetic personality helped her warm up to people. Kas is her best friend and she comes to visit the orphanage often to see her.
Image
Her main hobby is to carve foam birds from big blocks of foam and then paper mache them. After the paper mache dries then she will sow on cloth or any other material to add color and catch your eye. It is a long process and takes her about a month to finish each bird. If she wants to make a really good one it would take her much longer.
When Max and Vynas came to visit the ophanage for the first time they met all the plumies. After talking with each of them for a little while they when home to discuss about who to adopt. Adopting a child would change their lives and they knew that, so they wanted to get the child they could really love. They visited a few more times and talked with her(this plum) the most. She started warming up to them and they began to gain her trust. When they came to adopt her she was very scared to go. The day before the plumie that runs the orphanage told her that she was going to be adopted and gave her the address. Kas came later that day and she gave her the address. The day she got adopted she got adopted Vynas held her hand to the car. She got in the car and was very excited to get to her new home.
When they got home they parked in their driveway and Max looked out the the window of the car.
"Um hi? Can I help you?" Max asked the plumie that was waiting outside their front door. She was yellow, white, and had a ginormous grin on her face.
"Kas!" she yelled out and bolted out of the car. "How did you find this place so fast?"
"I slept under the porch and waited for you to come," Kas replied to her. Not having talked the whole car ride here Max and Vynas looked at her confused.
"This is my best friend, Kas!" she explained to her parents. They walked inside and talked much more. Kas stays around the house a lot and she sometimes calls Max and Vynas mom and dad on accident. She(this plum) live very happily with her new family and loves being out of the orphanage.
"KAS! How the heck do you teleport like that? You were here like 5 minutes ago!"
"No, you have been doing the problem all weekend. Its just now that you looked up. Arent you hungry?"
"Actually, yes." She got up and walked to the kitchen while Kas told the cheetah she brought home to come out from under the chair
owner?: Yes, I am the owner of four lovely Plumerians - all of which are included in this form.
name: Regreas.
gender: Male.
age: Around eight - PPS, so he will never grow up.
birthday: August 18th.
personality: Regreas is a rather reserved child - a little oddly so, to be completely honest. He doesn't act as a 'normal' child would. In fact, he's rather mature for his permanent physical age. Intelligent, too. Regreas is one of the smartest in his class, and is known for being able to recite facts no one else can care to remember. But he's also a rather lonely child - not many kids enjoy hanging around him. But he doesn't mind. In fact, he likes watching the other kids play. It gives him something to observe and learn about.
adoptive family:
why should Zaruko be chosen to be the adoptive parent? What makes him ideally suited for taking care of this child?:
Now, Zaruko (upon first meeting him) would not seem like an ideal parent. He's grouchy, irritable, and overall seems to be a mean guy. But once you've gotten to know him better, you learn that he's raised four kids - one of which he's raised on his own. You learn that underneath that hard shell, Zaruko is a genuinely good soul. He might not be able to offer the absolute best one, but under his care, Regreas would be raised into a fine young man.
While he is stern, Zaruko's not one to tell a child what they should do or who they should become. Instead, he'll only gently nudge Regreas in the right direction, while still letting the kid make his own choices. That isn't to say he'll just let Regreas do whatever he wants - oh, no. He's willing to discipline if necessary - usually with a time out or grounding - but he would never lay his hands on a child. He believes the only time you should harm another person is in a time of dire need - namely self-defense. He would teach Regreas this, and make sure that he understands this well.
Zaruko is caring and protective, but not too much so. He would not coddle Regreas because of his disability*. In fact, he would not let Regreas even think of it as a disability, but moreso as a challenge to better himself and to overcome all odds. Zaruko also believes that children should solve conflicts amongst themselves, and that parents should not interfere unless absolutely necessary. With that being said, he still does not believe that violence is ever the correct answer. If Regreas were to ever get into trouble at school, Zaruko would not discipline him severely. He would not scream or yell at Regreas; instead, he would sit Regreas down and speak calmly to him. He'd try and get into Regreas' mindset, and see why he'd done what he did. Zaruko would then explain to him why it was wrong, and instead of being upset with him, he'd moreso show that he's disappointed in Regreas. He'd let Regreas know that he knows his adoptive son is better than that, and would hopefully inspire Regreas to better himself.
adoption story:
      It wasn't a terribly odd occurrence for Ivory Joan to be late for dinner, but it certainly was unexpected.
      Zaruko glanced at the clock - not as an act of impatience; just to check. Five forty-eight. Approximately twenty minutes since the designated time for Ivory to be home. He sighed, looking back towards her set dinner plate, filled with steak, mashed potatoes and corn - all of which were probably cold by now.
      He waited a while longer - until six o'clock - before he stood and took the plates, walking over to the kitchen. He cleaned his and placed Ivory's in the microwave before scribbling out a note for his daughter, letting her know that her dinner was in the microwave if she still wanted to eat. Just as he was signing the letter, he heard hushed muttering from outside the front door and heard it open and close quietly. He glanced over to the hallway connecting the foyer to the living room, where he saw Ivory's shadow looming in.
      "So you're finally back," he said coolly, earning a loud squeak from his daughter. He heard scrambling and a "Wait here" before she hurried into the room, smiling widely at her father.
      "Hi, Daddy! How was your day?"
      Okay. Now he knew something was wrong. He had a hunch before, but now he knew. Ivory never, not ever asked how her father's day went - not unless she knew she was bound to be in trouble.
      Zaruko placed his chin in the palm of his right hand, drumming his fingers against the granite countertop.
      Ivory began to sweat a bit. "N-not that interesting, huh?"
      Zaruko narrowed his eyes, locking them with Ivory's and daring her to look away. They had a momentary staredown before Zaruko finally said, "Alright, kiddo. What did you break?"
      Ivory Joan raised her hands quickly in defense. "I did no such thing!" she said in mock appaul.
      "You stole something?" Zaruko's brow raised significantly.
      "No, Dad!" she snapped before collecting herself. "I... I was afraid to call you because I was afraid you were gonna say no, alright?"
      Zaruko blinked. "You... You bought a puppy, didn't you." He didn't ask it - he stated it bluntly.
      "He's better than a puppy, Dad." At this, Ivory was grinning big.
      He. He. "Oh God Ivory, what did you buy?"
      Ivory reached over and grabbed her father's wrist, tugging him along. "I didn't buy him, Daddy," she went on. "I found him. See, I was walking by the park when up comes-" She rounded the corner and, with a big flourish of her hands, pointed towards the door "-this little fella!"
      Zaruko glanced over and immediately set his sights on a small child - probably around seven or eight - with a prosthetic leg and a small walking stick. He stared, speechless, gawking at the kid as his daughter fidgeted off to the side nervously. "D-Dad? Y-you're not mad, a-are you? ...Da-"
      "Ivory Joan LuCreaux," Zaruko said firmly, and Ivory knew she was in for it, "where did you find this child?"
      "I-I just told you, he was at the park-"
      "Was he with anyone?"
      Ivory glanced over to the kid nervously. "E-er, no Dad... He... He's an or-"
      Orphan.
      The word hit him like a ton of bricks before it even escaped his daughter's lips.
      Zaruko's icy blue eyes widened significantly before he glanced over to his daughter, baffled. "...And you found him at the park?" He was straining to keep himself composed at this moment.
      "Y-yeah, Dad," Ivory said, her voice dropping to a low whisper. "Kid was just sitting there on the swingset. I asked him how long he'd been there - three days tops, he says. I'm not entirely sure myself, but I think his parents up and ditched him there... No note, no signs of them coming back - nothing. He wouldn't say anything else after that - just kept looking at the trees and changing the subject. Must've hit him hard, you know?"
      Zaruko could only nod at that. He let his gaze trail back to the child, who was staring at the large, oval mirror hanging on the wall across from the front door. Zaruko swallowed thickly, looking back at his daughter and clearing his throat, catching both her attention and that of the child.
      "Right. Ivory, your dinner's in the microwave. Heat it up for a minute and a half before you check it, alright?"
      She nodded quickly and bolted out of the room, leaving Zaruko alone with the mystery orphan. Zaruko watched as the child's gaze quickly darted to Ivory's retreating figure, staring wide-eyed as she rounded the corner and disappeared from his view. Not even two seconds later, his solemn stare was plastered to Zaruko, catching the elder off-guard.
      The small boy watched Zaruko, observing him, as if he were trying to decide if the elder was a threat or not. Once he deemed him harmless, the boy walked forward slowly, leaning against his cane and looking up at Zaruko.
      Zaruko was still at a loss for words, trying to form a coherent sentence. He didn't want the kid to be nervous, or afraid of him. But he'd never been in this situation before. He'd never fostered a child before - I mean, sure, he raised kids before, but three out of those four were with a partner, and now that he was divorced, he was finding it exceedingly difficult to-
      "So you're my new Papa?"
      Zaruko choked on his saliva as the young boy spoke calmly. He glanced down at the child, bewildered, and the boy took that as an invitation to continue.
      "Miss Ivory," he said, pointing in the direction she'd left. "She said I could be her little brother. Does that make you my Papa, now?"
      Now understanding why Ivory didn't want to simply call him and tell him this news, Zaruko knelt down to be at the boy's eye-level. "Well," he began. "I... I suppose so. If you'll let me, that is. I don't want you to feel like you're forced to be here."
      The boy nodded understandingly. "You seem like a good Papa," he said quietly. "Miss Ivory... She told me lots about you."
      "Oh?" Zaruko said, genuinely curious. "What did she say?"
      "She said you could be a bit loud and grumpy," he started, "but she told me you have a good heart. She said you kept her going, and that you'd help me." At this part, his voice got quiet, and he looked down shyly.
      Zaruko chuckled lightly, catching the boy's interest once again. "Well I'm glad to hear my daughter isn't speaking ill of me," he joked lightly, smiling at the child. "Do you have a name, son?"
      The boy nodded. "My mama used to call me Regreas - because she regretted having me, she said."
      Well then, wasn't that just lovely? Again, Zaruko choked, staring wide-eyed at Regreas. Why would a mother tell her son that? He was suddenly very angry for this sweet little boy, but attempted to stay calm. "Now, why would she say that?"
      Regreas shrugged. "Dunno. She said my papa left her when I was born, and that's why she named me that - because I was the end of a series of events that made her regretful."
      Zaruko nodded, trying to wrap his head around this fact. "Do... You don't believe her, do you?"
      At this, Regreas gave a small grin. "Slightly," he said. "I believe she named me 'Regreas' because I'm a regret...
      "But I'm the one regret that she'll regret letting go of."
design requests:
  • Prosthetic Leg - In place of Regreas' back right leg would be a simply-designed prostethic leg. It wouldn't have to be super fancy looking, but I'd really love this.
  • Fullbody Fur Edits - I absolutely adore fluff edits, so I'd love it if all of Regreas could be super fluffy, especially around his chest and tail. He'd just be a cute little fluff ball.
  • Hair Edits - I give you full artistic freedom with the hair edits. All I know is that I'd like something slightly similar to what Zaruko has.
      Why should they be chosen to be the adoptive parents? What makes them ideally suited for taking care of this child?:
      Granny is the best choice. Or so she insists.
      Who wouldn't love someone spoiling their darling children, or grandchildren, with sweets and treats and all sorts of goodies?
        Rose leaned into the shadow of the room that seemed so small and dank . . .
        Something slightly darker than the darkness of the shadows shifted into the sliver of light emitted from the crack in the nearby window.
        The air blew a bit harder and the window swung wider, and an eruption of moonlight flooded into the dim room.
        The
        something had apparently spoken and had also shifted into a position farthest from the light swarming the floorboards.
        A small creak and Rose's hard-of-hearing wasn't helping much so she tried leaning closer . . .
        There was a whimper that cried out so quietly, it was almost lost in the whispering of the frost floating outside.
        Rose thought she had misheard, but she hadn't after all since the
        something had decided to finally break through to her and communicate.
        "Y-y-you sm-me-mell, lik-k-ke chocolate."
        A timid smile followed close after the finishing of this brief sentence.
        Rose reached up a trembling paw and adjusted her glasses . . .
        It was a baby. Well, Rose wiped off some grime from the lenses and she saw a toddler . . .
        Terribly in need of a lot of TLC.
      Design requests:
      - This palette please
      - I'd really adore semi-/majority curly fur/fluff, thank you
      - POCKY PLUMIE! Would an add-on of a unicorn horn (which is actually a pocky) be alright? cx
      Thank you so much for this opportunity and congrats to the lucky winner of this special plumie! <3
    Gender: Nonbinary
    Adoptive parent/s: Tendai and Chesumi
    Why should they be chosen to be the adoptive parents? What makes them ideally suited for taking care of this child?:
      Their personalities interact very well. Chesumi is playful and carefree, influencing children's creativity and joy. Tendai is serious and passionate, taking a child's goals seriously and supporting them in their pursuits. Together, Chesumi balances out Tendai's extreme lawfulness, and Tendai balances out Chesumi's chaos.
      The both of them are very tight knit, despite having their differences. It's doubtful that any marriage related problems could arise. They would give their child all the attention they need, and they would never neglect them.
The moon hung in the sky, letting down a pale light that was enough to allow one to see their paw in front of their face, but not much more. Whilst the streets would normally be empty by this time of night, the hustle and bustle of the daytime had continued into the night. In the small town, any ruckus after 8pm was considered an abnormality, but as Christmas was only two days away, everyone scrambled to find last minute presents and other things needed to make the holiday fun. For one Plumie in the city, it was just another day. Or night, rather. He sat in his rustic office, looking outside to the street below. The commotion had died down in the last hour or so, but was still too noisy for his ears. Suddenly, the mobile phone that had been placed precariously on the edge of the desk rang out, making the Plumie literally jump out of his seat. Upon realising what had happened, he grabbed the small device and pressed the accept call button. “Hello?” His voice pierced the almost silent air.
“Detective Moriter? We need you down on Novak Avenue as soon as possible. We’ve found something you might be interested in.”
He hurried down the busy street, ducking and weaving through the vast amount of people still shopping. Luckily, his office was only around the corner from his destination. As he approached, he saw his mate and sidekick Darwin sitting on the curb, with another Plumerian wrapped up in a thick blanket next to him. “He was wandering the streets, kicking around a can and chewing a stick of gum. He’s most definitely homeless.” The other Plumie’s eyes widened. They’re alone on Christmas… he thought to himself. “Darwin, we’re not having any more kids.” He said, breaking the silence that had fallen between the three.
“I know, Chandelier. I don’t think I’d be able to cope with any more, especially if they turned out like Bay did.” Chandelier smiled at the thought of his youngest son. Whilst his other children were fairly well behaved, Bay was…well, a ruffian, to put it bluntly. He didn’t go around vandalising properties or getting tattoos everywhere, but his snarky and rude attitude made him a nightmare for the adults to handle. Once the smile had faded away, Chandelier spoke to the child.
“Hello there, little one.” The adult said sweetly, keeping his voice calm and quiet. “Where are your parents?” The small Plumie
