Hobby idea;

Since Natalie is a DJ, he would probably have some kind of love of music as well. I could imagine his idea expanding to become a drummer, or something entirely different depending on the influence from other characters.

Adoptive parent: Natalie
Why should she be chosen to be the adoptive parent?

Well, as a person herself, Natalie is quite shy. She lives alone and quite frankly doesn't do anything different. She hasn't had anything too thrilling or life changing happen to her, and I believe that adopting a child will give her life more of a spark. It would help her maternal instincts come out, as well as meet others and help her to become a little more outgoing. She has a normal sized home, which she moved into after deciding she would love a companion and planned on getting either a cat or large dog, feeling her small apartment wasn't suitable any longer. She has the space, and although she may be a little nervous about it at first, probably just staring at the child and expecting it to live on its own, awkwardly trying to feed it or keep it entertained. She isn't one for romance, so she doesn't plan on getting married or dating anytime soon, but she does get help from some close friends of hers and would be able to care for the child and get the hang of things over time.

What makes them ideally suited for taking care of this child?:
This is a bit more difficult to answer, however despite Natalie's constant work she would be the ideal parent for a child. She may not seem like it, but she has a lot of love in her heart that she has nobody to share it with. Quite frankly, she isn't too good with approaching people and can't take a hint when it comes to romance, so nobody except her family has been in her life. She wouldn't really be too comfortable wih the thought of a child at first, but she would grow to love and care a lot for them and act as a protector.

As to why im using Natalie as the adoptive parent, well, her character seems to be the same lately. I wanted to do something new with her, and I love her character but I was considering a complete revamp. Then this Bab came out, and I wasn't sure if I should enter or not but I made a form just in case. When I saw this was extended, I found my form and figured why not give it a shot. It would help with her character development as well. I want to explore her character a bit more with a new life changing event. I can't seem to get a non semi-lit roleplay or headcanon from the FanClub, so any development I do is kept to myself, ~Caramel~ and my sketchbooks. I've seemed to hit a roadblock in development, and this is the perfect oppurtunity to continue her story. I alreadyd have ideas for an idea that, if it comes to life, would be beyond amazing.

How they met;

"Sorry sir, it was an accident. It won't happen again!" a soft, low feminine voice murmured. A small, green eyed plumerian stood in her normal waitress uniform in a local diner, nervously fidgeting at the angry eyes of a larger brute. "Better not, you ruined my shirt!" He hissed, glaring at her name tag. "Next time I'll report you, Natalie. Quit spilling things." The man sighed, paying his bill and exiting the diner. "At least he gave a tip." Natalie muttered under her breath, staring at the time. Closing time already? She thought, a small smile creeping on her face as she exited as well. She walked her normal path home singing a song softly under her breath as she passed through the park to relax. She took a seat on a bench, watching the sun set. "It's amazing, right?" A squeaky voice chimed, causing Natalie to jump immediately to see a small child sitting next to her. He was short, and rather frail with rugged, dirt matted fur. He smelled as if he had been bathing in garbage and used the seeee water as his bathtub. However, the kid looked hopeful, although he seemed to be shaking in fear. Natalie took a minute to calm herself before responding. "It is, yes." she said smoothly. The little male smiled, but said nothing. After a little while of awkward silence, he muttered. "y-you have a pretty voice, lady." Natalie blushed, not too sure how he had heard her or when. He seemed to see her questioning gaze, and smiled slightly. "I followed you, you were getting yelled at by that man." He said, chuckling slightly. "Oh, is that man your father?" She asked, looking around nervously for the brute to come back. She hadn't seen a kid with him, but she didn't want to take a chance. Despite waiting, the young male never answered. Natalie frowned. "Well, um, I'd better be going now... bye kid." She muttered, getting up. She took a few steps and heard sniffling, looking back in alarm. Oh no what did I do this time? She thought nervously, biting her bottom lip. She watched the small child sob and shake, she wasn't quite sure what to do. "Um... what's wrong with you?" she asked, widening her eyes as she realized how rude it sounded out loud. "I mean, are y-you okay?" she corrected, playing with her fingers. The child didn't reply, and Natalie sighed and pulled out her cell phone, calling her friend Drayce. "Drayce! Thank goodness you answered, I need help. I have a problem, I made a kid cry... What do you mean make him stop? How do I do that?! ... No, I didn't see any, hold on." Natalie paused and held the phone away from her. "Hey, kid, where are your parents?" Natalie asked curiously. She waited, no reply. "Drayce he isn't answering what do I do he was really happy a minute ago." She said, her voice quivering nervously. "No, I swear I didn't see them. He followed me here, he looks like he's about 6, maybe 7. I don't have my car, so it's not like I can drive him anywhere, and it's getting late. I can't leave him here." Natalie sighed, listening to Drayce respond. She let out a low, agitated groan before turning back to the kid once again. "Do you want to come with me for now?" she asked, sticking her hand out. After a few silent moments, he shyly grabbed her hand and wiped the remaining tears away with his other hand. "Are you going to me by new mommy?" He asked innocently, his wide eyes staring back at her curiously. Natalie shook her head. "No sweetie..." she whispered. New mommy? She thought, and she finally put all of the pieces together. He's an orphan, he's all alone...

"Welcome to my home, uhm, I hope you aren't allergic to cats. I only have one right now. It's roomy, so you'll have lot's of ro- wait, did I ever ask your name?" Natalie asked, staring at the dirty orphan child. He thought for a minute, lost in thought. "Shoe." He stated firmly. "Shoe?" Natalie echoed, furrowing her brows. "It's what the street people call me when they see me around. They're always like 'Shoo! Get away from there!' and stuff, they're nice though." He stated proudly. I don't think I can cal him shoe forever. Natalie thought nervously. "Can I call you.... Hm..." She thought for a minute, but he interrupted her thoughts. "What's an alto?" He asked, seeing the words on a music sheet Natalie had on her table. She hasn't noticed his grabby little hands quietly take the paper and start reading it. That's it, Alto! That's what I can call him for now. "It's the highest note or voice in music, I can explain in more detail later I suppose? For now, I think you should go take a bath or something."

The next morning
Natalie was dressed and ready for work as usual. "Alright alright, no spilling stuff today." She told herself, walking outside and off to work. Then it hit her. Alto! Oh no, oh gosh no what did I just do I left that kid alone.

After agreeing to take care of him, Natalie has played a huge part in his development as a growing child. Her love of music rubbed off on him ina big way, and as a child he tries to play the drums, or anything he could hit. She has also showed him how to be kind to others, and the most valuable thing you can have: patience. She always reminds him that patience is needed to be successful in anything you do.
Ginger| Friend

Ginger is also an influence on this guy. Her outgoing and overconfident attitude has started to break his shell and help him express his opinion freely rather than keep it locked up inside him. Unfortunately, she has more of a negative effect on him as well. Her careless attitude and impulsive behavior rubbed off on him as well. When he was first adopted he was rather young, and she met Alto almost immediately. She's been with him for quite some time and treats him like a younger brother.
Drayce| Other 'Guardian' | owned by ~Caramel~

Natalie kinda forced this upon Drayce, but it's good for the both of them. The lone inventor and the little orphan child spend quite a bit of time together. He spends a lot of time with him, and tries to help him with inventing despite his inability to understand anything that's going on.

• Parkour// He isn't very good at it, but Ginger told him he should try it and well he did.
• Writing bad songs// Alto tries to write his own songs, but unfortunately he isn't very good at that either.
