Twinx loves gingerbread. He loves the taste as well as how creative one can be with it. He often finds himself fascinated by the food network show where the create elaborate gingerbread houses/scenes with it.

What do they think about gingerbread?:
Christmas is not Viddi's holiday, his family was never all for it, and his single interest in it didn't stoke any festive fires. By the time the jolly old December cheer caught up to him where he could dictate his own decisions on what to celibrate, he hadn't a feeling for getting a tree, putting up lights, giving presents, or making gingerbread cookies. Though he was always a fan for the holiday chee, plus Christmas comes only once a year, which means Christmas goodies come just about once a year too. White chocolate lattes, candy canes, yule logs, and of course ginger bread, it all makes his mouth water... And while Viddi is most partial to candy canes, buying them up in handfuls every time he goes grocery shopping[Because they pop up everywhere before December even starts, big plus] in a way he couldn't as a child, his favorite thing to do is to buy a gingerbread house and build them. Not eat, he doesn't care for the taste, but he will absolutely become a gingerbread architect as soon as it and frosting are in his hand.

Zonta is very fond of gingerbread if made correctly.
When he was young he would help his Grandma make gingerbread in her bakery for the holidays. Every morning she would walk to his house and walk with him to the bakery. Walking through the door was like walking into a wave of the most wonderful Christmas smells. It was the perfect Christmas image with everything decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations and lights mixed with the beautiful aroma of Christmas goodies and ginger. She was a great cook and plumies would come from miles around to get her Christmas treats. Everyone loved her goodies but her most beloved was her gingerbread cookies.

He remembers the hours in the kitchen helping her create batches and batches of batter, often sneaking tastes when she wasn't watching him. The batter was perfect and keep him looking forward to the finished product. He loved the time he could spend with his Grandma making such yummy treats.

His favorite time in the bakery was the day they broke into an all out batter war. He was trying to carry a double batch of batter across the kitchen to the area for cutting out the cookies. As he walked he tripped and flung the batter across the room getting it all over his Grandma who was just finishing her dough. He quickly apologized knowing she would be mad. Instead to his surprise she laughed and through some dough at him hitting him on the side of his face. He laughed and joined in and soon they were in a dough war, both laughing and having a blast. When they were out of dough and sore from laughing they spent the rest of the day cleaning up the kitchen.

Some evenings when they were done with a hard day of work his Grandma would make one final batch of gingerbread cookies to share. He remembers visiting with her and eating those warm gingerbread men fresh out of the oven. Forever they have been his favorite having the perfect blend of ginger and spices.

"Now those were the days." he thought sitting in the empty bakery. Not much has change since those days. The bakery is still the same selling most of the same goodies and some new ones. He still spends his holidays in the bakery making those yummy goodies and inventing new ones from her old recipes. The only thing that could make it better is if she was here. Ever since her passing there's been something missing. She knew how much he loved the bakery and gave it to him when she passed.

For awhile he went off traveling looking to try other Christmas treats. He loved almost all of them but no matter how much he tried he couldn't find a good gingerbread. They were either plain, too much ginger, too hard or just didn't taste right. Most of them were so spicy that it burned his mouth. After awhile he just gave up on gingerbread. He had so much bad ones that he lost the taste for them.

A couple months later he started looking through some old boxes built up in his room. At the bottom of one of his boxes he found a picture of him and his Grandma in front of the bakery. The next day he walked over to the old bakery. A rush of memories flooded into his head as he walked through the door. It was a little dusty and needed some tlc but still had the sweat aroma of ginger. He teared up as he entered the kitchen he had spent so much time in as a cub. A couple hours later he had made a batch of her gingerbread to the best of his knowledge and sat down to enjoy them.

Now he has the bakery clean and up and running again. He misses her but loves the memories they made and the fact that he now owns the shop he loves so much. He still makes her gingerbread and to this day it is the only gingerbread that he likes. He doesn't know if it's as good as he thinks or if it's just because he grew to love them so much but he does knows that he loves them and will always remember his Grandma making them with him for the Holidays.

What do they think about gingerbread?: Sorrel cannot consume gluten for the risk of her bodily functions becoming disrupted, for she is allergic to it. As flour is involved in the making of gingerbread, Sorrel usually cannot eat it; however, when she was a child, her mother cooked gluten-free food for her, including gluten-free gingerbread. The taste was indescribable, according to Sorrel, even if it wasn't what normal gingerbread tasted like. Thanks to those tastes, Sorrel has concluded that gingerbread is one of her favourite foods.
