Though most people wouldn't consider the made-up holiday of Terrance anything less than a silly gimmick, it tended to touch the hearts of those who heard it, though occasionally it earned a scoff, or a tired sigh. When approval of his 'holiday' was given, it was met with a very excited plumerian, one who's heart filled with delight, despite the fact that the words were generally not very substantial in their meaning.
The Holiday in itself showed a more childish, warmhearted side of Terrance that not many things could bring out. Every year, on the sixth of December, just before the snow began to fall in abundance, he spent the night hanging lanterns with glittering candles. Why? In memory of all of his loved ones, whether it be loved ones lost, or those who still remained, as a tribute to their friendship.
Over the years, the number of candles grew, as did those who came to witness the spectacle, a rather small and plump plumerian with a small wicker basket housing a long candle upon his back, carefully bringing the gentle glow of candles to an otherwise deary forest. Many of the visitors returned in the following years to help, and found that they had a candle attributed to them, which warmed their hearts and all but banished the chilly air, filling the forest with the gentle glow of warmth and of love.
