what is their favorite dessert?; Matilda's favorite dessert is chocolate lava cake. She loves all things chocolate, but this particular dessert is her absolute favorite for many reasons.
1. It's very difficult to make properly, so getting one that's perfect is hard to do, and requires a person who loves a challenge to make it correctly.
2. When done properly, it's the perfect blend between sugar and spice - the cake will sometimes contain spicy foods such as chili powder or a slight bit of jalapeno peppers ground up and mashed into the batter to give it a kick; the interior is pure chocolate, melted by the heat of the oven.
3. When Matilda bites into one, she immediately relaxes. This is her comfort food, and eating one of these never ceases to calm her down after a hectic or stressful day.
