Maylene slid the rest of the mouse over to the vulture, whom quickly ate the rest of the small morsel. She was slightly freaked out. It followed her. Everywhere. Now by the seems of it, it probably wasn't going to eat her anytime soon. And as much as it pained her to do, she had named it. She gave her best effort to slip away, which was in vain. It quickly got up and hopped after her, nuzzling her slightly. "I-I! Eeeep!" she flailed trying to get it to go away. But it was no use. It persisted.

She curled up in the corner of a large box with old newspaper as bedding. It curled around her. She was trembling. How could it not eat her? It was still there in the morning. It was obvious it didn't have any plans of leaving.

Kazuu stares at the little creature curiously. It was a vulture. But it had ears, and no wings. It was weird indeed, but it looked like a chick, so he couldn't just abandon it. Swooping down he landed nicely next to her. She was eating a mouse, and jumped when he landed next to her. Shaking she gave him the rest of the mouse. He was going to protect this chick.

Arabel found the vulture when it was only a small chick. It had been injured when it had fallen out of its nest and its parents abandoned it. She was traveling alone anyway, her teacup syndrome making her look younger than she really is. She decided to bring him with her, she couldn't just leave him to die. After a while of traveling, their bond grew strong, and although she could not understand him, she soon learnt what each noise and wing gestures he made meant. when it came to the time his injures had healed, mortimer could not even think about leaving her, so he stayed.

Relationship: Liam relies on his vulture, as his parents left him a lone at young age, so he was left to die, knowing absolutely nothing about survival. Liam was left out in a field, out in the open, mewling and screeching for help. No replies came. He sat alone, sad, cold, and tired, waiting for something that wasn't to come. Liam finally accepted his fate, lay down and shut his eyes tightly. Suddenly, a large black figure was looming over him. Liam gasped, and backed away in fear, tears streaming from his eyes. The vulture outstretched it's neck towards Liam, and then cocked it's head. The vulture gave a warming look, and then wrapped its wing around Liam. It was warm, soft and comforting, everything Liam needed then. Liam now calls the vulture " Bentley, " and Liam is like Bentley's shadow. Liam refuses to leave Bentley's side, as Bentley had been there for Liam since he was just a small spark, and now protects Liam daily. It seems as if Liam had imprinted on Bentley, as he never really connected with his true parents, so Bentley plays that role. Bentley has taught Liam how to look for his own food, how to hide from danger, how to make a nest, and even how to play some games. Liam is very shy and spooks easily, so Bentley has to be very careful on what he teaches of shows Liam. Liam has grown very attached to Bentley, and will never stray from him. He finds Bentley's feathers and warmth comforting and calming, which are Liam's two favorite things in the world. Bentley and Liam are inseparable, and Liam couldn't have asked for a better " parent ".

Con has a very severe case of schizophrenia, an oddly common disorder in which the victim hallucinates vividly either visually or audibly, and sometimes both.
Because of this he prefers to keep his eyes shut and his ears pinned firmly to his head, shutting out the noise and blanking out the terrifying things only he can see.
However, this can become a very obvious problem for everyday life.
So how does he get around and survive without two of the most important senses?
Haulic, of course.
His darling vulture companion, who has grown to become more of a father figure than anything else over the course of the past few years. Haulic understands the little cat's issues and helps him to the best of his ability, guiding him threw life with a gentle wing over his shoulder.
The two are very close, never leaving each others sides, and for good reason.
If not for Haulic always being there, Con would surely not be here still today.
