Quest Information; Rules & RegulationsWelcome to the quests page. Each of these quests MUST be completed in order for you to be able to keep your Valkrein fawn and to grow them up. The faster you complete the tasks, the faster they will grow up, but take your time and be thorough in answering your quests since they must be completed correctly to be able to move on.
Each quest will have a small description to get you in a writing or drawing mood. For writing, each quest has a word count minimum, if not met, the quest will not count and will have to be edited or redone to be valid for the next quest. You must complete your quests in the correct order with the correct title and on your fawn's adoption page to be valid.
When you have completed a quest, post on this thread page the link to your quest answer and the quest number to be checked and validated. If everything is correct, you will get a post from a mod or other staff member with your reward for that quest. Please then strike out your post on this thread so our staff knows that you task has been approved(it will save us a lot of time). Then you can move on to the next quest and so forth.
Quests must first be approved before completing another quest. If your quest has not been approved 3 days after you have posted about it, please message one of the staff members. DO NOT quote and re-post the same task.

Quest One Information
A stable hand walks up to you, waiting in front of the barn, leading a young fawn on the end of a lead. The small Valkrein looks nervous as it prances behind at a decent pace. "This fawn is one of our orphans. I thought they would be perfect for you. But before you can take them home, why don't you introduce yourself? Their a little nervous." The stable hand explains before handing you the lead. The little fawn was looking at you expectedly, curious as to who you were. Why don't you introduce yourself to them?

Quest Two Information
After taking the 3,000 marks from the stable hand, you now must take your Valkrein fawn home. They are very young and have never been inside a trailer before. How do you encourage this baby into the trailer?

Quest Three Information
You've successfully gotten your fawn home. The trailer ride was a success!! Your so proud of your fawn for taking the ride well. Now you need to get them settled into their new home. How do you set up their stall and get them adjusted to living by themselves after being dependent on mom? How do they react to this?

Quest Four Information
Now that your fawn has gotten accustomed to their new home to being by themselves, how do you bond with them? What is their personality like? What do they like or dislike?

Quest Five Information
You have bonded with your fawn, and now that they trust you, you can start on small basic groundwork including brushing and grooming of your fawn. They have gotten so dirty, let's wash them up with a bath and a good brushing. Remember that this will be their first bath and they haven't really been touched all over before! How do they react? Do they like the water? Was this a good experience or a bad one?

Now that your fawn has been taught to be touched and that it's okay, now we can work on some groundwork. Basic things like lounging, standing tied, and picking up their feet. This is also a good time to socialize them to loud noises and foreign object like a tarp or balls. Even introducing them to dogs and cats.

Your Valkrein is almost all grown up!! They are now ready for you to introduce them to tack. How will you socialize your Valkrein to a saddle pad, blanket, saddle, and bridle? How do they react to these new items?

Your almost there!! Your Valkrein is now old enough to start supporting weight on their back. By the end of this task, theyes should be able to fully handle your weight on their back in a saddle. Start slowly to avoid putting stress on your Valkrein's body. What is there initial reaction to bearing weight?

Great job! Your Valkrein can now hold your body weight for an extended period of time. Let's take them out for a short ride and teach them some simple commands! They should easily learn how to follow your left and right commands as well as to speed up and stop. Maybe you can teach them to back up as well! How did your first ride go?
