Username;; Graham
Mako name;; Jaladhi (treasure of water)
Mako gender;; Male
Personality;; Jaladhi is much alike the ocean: calm, waxing and waning,
and showing age beyond his years. There's a childlike quality to him, most obvious
when he's running along the shore and playing in rain puddles. His affinity for water
has been obvious since he was a child, and it's easy to compare him to it. While his
moods are stable for the most part, when he becomes upset, it's much alike a storm
rolling in over the sea. His anger can be swift and harsh, but dissipates just as fast as
it appears. At his core, he's very go-with-the-flow and relaxed. He has a tendency
to wander off and it's not uncommon that he becomes lost. Being very relaxed,
though, he doesn't ever worry-- if he got himself somewhere, he can get
himself back !!

He had gotten caught up in the seafoam and the creatures that washed up to say hello.
Four jellyfish, he counted. Four jellies, two baby sharks, and six starfish-- a whole six!
His adventures had carried on too long tonight, though. Where was he? This stretch of
beach was completely foreign beneath his feet. He uneasily looked back as the waves
washed his prints away. It was so dark now he could barely even see their imprints as
they were eroded into oblivion. For the first time in a long while, he felt a pang of
worry in the centre of his chest. The sun was completely below the horizon now; it
would be too dangerous to wander all the way back. His flaxen eyes reflected fear;
genuine fear for the first time in his life. They darted along the ocean until they
settled on a bonfire not far off, up upon the mounds of sand that constituted the
shore. He heard a soft song on the wind and, as he cautiously padded closer, the
music grew louder. There was
another man sitting on a towel, strumming quietly
at a guitar. His green eyes met with Jaladhi, but he continued to strum, humming
whatever
song he was playing. Unsure, but not afraid, Jaladhi sat down on
the opposite side of the fire, humming gently in pleasure as the fire warmed
his cold, salty fur. For the longest while it was just the two sitting near the fire;
no sound but breathing and the mysterious man's soft singing and guitar.
Eventually, though, it came to a stop. "
You gonna introduce yourself,
kid?" Jaladhi jumped a small bit at the sudden voice. He looked into the fire
for a bit, before finally finding his voice. "
I'm Jaladhi," his voice trembled. "
I'm
lost," he continued, looking down at the sand. "
Well, Jaladhi, I'm Pryce,"
a soft smile creased at the man's chapped lips. "
Why don't you tell me about
how you got here?" That was all it took to melt away his fear. From that moment,
until the sun kissed the sky, Jaladhi shared everything he could think to with Pryce.
They hit it off fast, and as the sun filtered over the water, Pryce began
to see him home.
Getting lost wasn't so bad after all.
