Boreas is special. Not just because he has the wing marks, or the special mane, but because of his history. This isn't his first go round on earth. He has been here before...many, many times before. Boreas is a relative of the first horse God created as referred to in the Bible in Job. He is a fantastic animal, sent down repeatedly by the angels so Man never forgets the majesty of the first horse, or God who created him. Tall, powerful and gentle he is everything the first horse was. But the first horse was of normal color and had normal marks. Boreas had to be different. He needed to stand out from the rest, so God made him with a wing mark (mark of angels) on his shoulders and the roached mane so the mark will never be covered.

Now Boreas is not immortal. He lives a normal life span for a horse of the Arabian breed, about 20 years, sometimes 25. However, Boreas is like a phoenix. He is born, he lives, he dies, then is reborn again. He never dies of injuries or disease. He can not be killed. He just lives a normal life span.

Boreas is moderately faster and stronger than the average arabian, because he is god-born, after all, but otherwise is he normal. He is of a gentle, serene nature, protective of those around him, honest and true (in the way of horses), and especially, adores children.

His foals, if he breeds, are all just as wonderful as Boreas is himself, though they do not have the phoenix quality of their sire.

So this is Boreas, horse of the Heavens, come to earth.

He will set his mind on something and wont stop until it is done. he has a very serious attitude which makes him an excellent dressage horse (not my preferred sport but i guess dressage horses would have serious attitude) he is also a very fiery stallion (as stallions will be) when worked up but he can also be very caring and understanding. He is always there if you need someone to talk to and is a very loyal friend. (Wow, i used very a lot)

Why so many halters (stall/paddock)?
Beyond has three different halters to warn people about his mood, there is even a chart about what hater means what! The first halter (havanna brown) means he is in a good mood and fine to go near and pat. The second halter (black) means he is in a bad mood but is still fine to go near just be on alert for any signs of his mood getting worse. And the last halter means he is in a VERY bad mood and should be avoided at all costs! If he is in a bad mood with this halter, don't go near him, try to pat him or even look at him because he WILL have a go at YOU!

Despite his seemingly friendly nature, Apollo
is truly not one to mess with.
This stallion is very bold and never one to
back down from a challenge of any form.
If someone says anything about being better
than him or any other being, Apollo is sure to
challenge said being-- even if they are
far stronger or wiser than he.
He is very hotheaded, almost to the point where he will
deny common sense and logic. He will do very daring things
to make himself seem superior or to impress.
Apollo never gives up on any task he
has said he will do. No matter if it seems impossible. Apollo
is determined to do it, simply to say he did.
If someone threatens or tries to harm anyone
Apollo is fond of, even in the slightest, he will
fight with them until they give up.
He loves to do mischievous things with his
closest friend Nymeria. The two often are seen teasing
the other horses and wreaking havoc all across
the stables.
All of this aside, Apollo is a very grateful creature
who has a tendency to appreciate the smaller
things in life.

sparkling with something Apollo couldn't name.
"Apollo, eh?" she'd asked. Somewhat
befuddled, Apollo had nodded, immediately
taking a liking to this mare. "I'm Nymeria."
Apollo blinked his storm-grey eyes, but
did not make any response.
From then on, Nymeria and Apollo were extremely
close, scarcely able to be separated. Nymeria is
Apollo's best friend; the two rarely leave each other's side.
rex-stallion-enemy
Rex greeted Apollo with an annoyed squeal,
baring his teeth. Immediately, Apollo
took a disliking to this stallion. Despite
his attempts to show kindness to the stallion,
Rex always turned on him. Because of this, the two
are enemies. They rarely interact with each other, and when
they do it is generally not good.

Prince has truly not done anything to
Apollo; Apollo simply dislikes the stallion's
personality and overall attitude.

Maelstrom met Apollo with kindness,

the earth, gaining speed with every passing moment.
He tossed his head to the wind, mane streaming behind him like
thin tendrils of smoke. His blue-grey eyes were alight
with ferocity, ears pricked sharply, catching every
quiet sound among his surroundings.
The thunderous roar of his herdmates' hooves
reverberated withinhis very soul, reverberated within his chest.

parted his jaws and let out a high pitched squeal,
legs churning
ever faster. He seemed to become part of the wind,
vanish within it.

rich and vibrant coloration. When he was just a
colt, these butterflies would often alight on his
muzzle in the fall. He loved this
greatly.

is December, due to the generally cold temperatures and the snow.
Winter is his favorite season because of the snow that often falls.
He loves to plow through the drifts and send it flying.

One of the rare occasions in which he has was by total accident, when he escaped his corral
and galloped off. He stumbled upon one, which made it very
obvious Apollo had better leave it alone.
Treat- Apollo loves apple slices. If they are plain, that's okay,
but he loves it when they have a little dollop of caramel atop them.
