As you can see, we've got a new cape style! This one's called a diamond cape and it's gonna be a fairly rare one. The next few pallio are gonna have this cape so you'll have a few chances to snag one.
Alrighty, I streamed this one when I was designing it and the chat said I should do an "impress me" style comp. Seeing as how this one is special, that seems appropriate. Do know that you won't be impressing just me, but a small group of judges (myself and two other people). And since these sort of comps are hard to judge, I'll be taking volunteers for this one. Please PM me if you're interested in judging! No qualifications needed, just gotta be willing to read/judge. You'll be awarded points for your time, which you'll be able to collect to buy snazzy things (+1 pallio slot, MYO pallio ticket, MYO veligo, etc.) (still setting up this system, but it'll be done before this comp ends) Found, thanks to the two people who volunteered!
As for this pallio's description, they're a tad smaller than the average pallio. They've got small ears and a shortish tail. Their cape is a diamond style with sparkles.
So yeah, this one's an Impress me style contest. Here's a general character form to get started:

No limits on arts, stories, etc. and you can have as many different types of extras as you want. And feel free to pretty up your form however you want.
If you're stuck on ideas, I suggest checking out the some of the stuff I have written up about the world pallios live in, Avris. There's some open species in the fauna section that you can make as companions/ use for backstory (feel free to ask me for help if you need it!).

Q: Do I need to have my pallio fit in the Avris world? Can I make them more modern?
A: You're free to build your character any way you want. While Avris is set in a fantasy/medieval sort of world, you don't need to restrict your character to it. If you wanna make a more modern character, you're free to do so. Do note that if you wanna have your character be a part of Avris, they would need to fit in the world. This doesn't mean you can't have the same character you already have, you would probably just need to adjust things. For example, normally your character is a photographer who has like, a digital camera and likes to take pics of abandoned buildings. In the Avris world, maybe they're a photographer who uses a very old style camera, or they're a good artist who sketches out the ruins they see. You can consider Avris as the canon world pallios live in, but if you make anything that doesn't fit, we can consider it an Alternate Universe.
I know school is starting for people, so I'll be making this one a long competition. End date is currently set at September 10th, but may be extended depending on entries. Extended to November 21st.
