first companion story
She stumbles around, trying to regain her balance. She opens her eyes for the first time. She sees no one. Her eyes land on a glossy brown pebble. She neighs "Mamma." She trots towards the lonely pebble and lays next to it. She curls up and falls asleep, snoring softly. She wakes up to a nudge to see her real mother. The filly soon realises the pebbles not her mother and stands up, to follow her mother. She quickly turns round and picks the pebble up delicately in her mouth. She trots in front of her mother holding the pebble up high. After that she took it everywhere with her. She got quizzical looks off others but she didn't care. She didn't think it was her mum anymore. She christened the pebble as Rocky. One night she went down to the beach. She saw other foals chucking stones in the water. She realised she had a stone in her mouth already and chucked it. She then realised it was Rocky. The foal panicked and searched for it but she couldn't find her friend Rocky. After that she cried for a couple of nights. Her mother told her it was just a rock and that she could pick up another one. Sunset refused to replace her lost friend.
