Alrighty, judging is finished! Took a while due to there being three of us judging this, but judging is now a lot more fair, more judges means less biased opinions. I also like that now I'm not the only one who has to suffer through the judging process, haha.

The guest judges for this round were Rhys~ and Fennekin. I've quoted exactly as they've said to prevent any minced words and for transparency.

I'll start with my stuff:

First off I wanna say that this was tough to judge! All the forms were a joy to read, it was hard to pick one. I know I say this everytime, but dang it it's true. You all write great stuff and it makes judging tough.

Ultimately I had to pick one, so I went with dave.'s Cam. The form may be read here.

I thought Cam was very fleshed out, I got to understand his personality and faults well. I liked reading the comments from other pallios about how they felt about him, it helped me understand Cam from the perspective of others. I thought the short story was a very interesting one to read, it held my attention and made me want to learn more. Like, what's up with the repeating dreams? and that flower? I'd love to see where this goes.

As for the other judges:

Okay so the winner is d-dave. with Cam
I loved this form! the character seemed unique to me and he also seemed interesting! I loved reading this form, and the story at the end was pretty amazing and I think everything there was great!
Cam's secret seems funny to me, and I think Cam would be a great pallio!
Congrats!

SplashofOrangeJuice also had a great form! but, I feel like I didn't get to know Blue enough.

In the end I think I'd have to go with dave.'s Cam. Visually, the form is amazing and obviously had a lot of work put into it. The text is a little small (and light!) for me but I really dig how everything is organized, which makes it easier for me to read even with the text. Cam as a character is well-rounded with a lot of thought put into his personality, flaws and relationships with others. I love the short story extra and want to see where it goes!

SplashofOrangeJuice's Blue seems like a really cool guy! I love how active/athletic he is and he seems to live in the perfect environment that jives with him. The accompanying photos with the form are gorgeous! However once again I had trouble reading the smaller text, and despite stuff like bolding subjects, it kind of ran together visually and was difficult for me to parse.

Euphoria.'s Canary really struck me character-wise; I love her fascination with birds/aviation and the thought put into her flaws. The text size also made the form easy to read! I would've liked to see a little more connection between/explanation for some of her character concepts but I really liked her overall.

and there you have it, looks like the winner is dave. for this one. I've added you to the color in for claiming. Feel free to add any stuff, also color in those eyes.

Thank you to everyone who entered! and a big thanks to Rhys and Fenn for helping me judge this. This was the first comp featuring guest judges and I think it went well. While we all chose dave. for this one, I should note that I go by majority vote, so 2 out of 3. In the super rare case we all pick someone different (hey, it could happen, especially in more intense comps w/ lots of entries) I'll bring in more judges to tie break.
