Viscet Name: Liliana Marie (Lily for short)
Viscet Gender: Female
Bio: Lily is a very nice and playful viscet, she can often be found running around in the forest or trying very hard to get her friends to come out and play, Lily was on a constant "need to go" basis, what we would describe as symptoms of ADHD, was just known as hyperactive in Lily's village. Some of Lily's favorite things to do are to play outside, or just to be outside in general, she loves the trees and the flowers. They bring so many shades of green and the flowers that dot the hills are like small splotches of vibrant color, she loves to paint them or draw simple sketches of the forest and/or landscape in her sketchbook. Some of Lily's other hobbies include drawing, painting, sculpting, playing her flute, and a few select sports like soccer, volleyball, and dancing. She has a wonderful and uniquely intricate type of personality, Lily is a very playful and a fun-loving viscet, she is kind to everyone in her village and everything that surrounds it; But she also has a few perks of her own, Lily, for instance, hates it when her family members, specifically her two older brothers, leave their stuff all over the house. There have been many occasions where Lily has found herself almost walking on pins and needles due to having to trudge across her siblings toys that have sharps points, Lily is constantly tidying up the house, something that her parents are very grateful for. They are so glad that they have not only a very intelligent and creative daughter, but also a daughter who loves and cares for everyone and is one of those people who is persistent and determined and will not give up easily no matter how hard the world pushes against them; no matter how much opposition Lily i set with she will keep driving through until her goal is reached. Lily's favorite food has to be a fruit and yogurt parfait, Lily loves fresh fruit, she's not much one for sweets or candy, she (and her family members) will often find her "hoarding" candy, truthfully she won't end up eating it, normally it just ends up sitting in her room, by that point in time though she either gives it to her brothers and/or to her friends.
Short Story:
The Perfect Day
Lily had just had a not-so-good day at school, she had messed up a part of the skit that her and her friends were doing for a presentation in class and after lunch she had dropped all of her books and notepads in the hallway, resulting in her getting laughed at by the other students that had been passing by. But amongst all of those people passing by trying to get to class, her best friend Cobalt stopped to help her pick up her books.
"Thanks Cobalt" She whispered, she was really embarrassed,
"Hey, don't fret over something silly like this, it happens to the best of us" He reassured her, giving her an encouraging hug, this brightened Lily's mood immensely, she cheerfully finished picking up all of her dropped materials and then the two viscet's headed of to their next class, which they happened to have together.
Lily sighed as she finished thinking about the embarrassing experience she had had during school, but then she smiled as she remembered Cobalt's encouraging words and gestures; excited, and happier than ever she trotted off in the direction of home. Lily finally reached her family's little cottage at the entrance to the woods, and walked inside, she set her bag down next to the kitchen table as she always did and grabbed a snack from the pantry.
"Mom, I'm home!" She called upstairs to her mother, who was probably cleaning or doing laundry,
"Alright honey! I'll be done cleaning in a minute, just go ahead and start your homework and if you need help I'll be down once I'm done." She told her daughter.
Lily smiled and skipped over to the table, puling out her math notebook, her textbook, and her calculator, she only had math homework because she had already finished all of her other homework during her study hall period, they were currently working on Geometric Sequences in her Algebra 1 class, and she was finding it quite challenging, she wouldn't consider it "hard", but there were some concepts that she had trouble seeing eye-to-eye with.
By the time her mother had finished her daily cleaning and had walked downstairs Lily had long since finished that days math homework and she just double checked a couple things with her mother before she went out to run around and play in the woods, but just in case, before Lily went outside she grabbed her artist bag that was filled with canvas, acrylic paint, some brushes, a small polaroid camera, and a small, lap-sized easel.
"Mom, I'm going to go to the big hill, alright?" Lily hollered to her mother.
"Alright, but be careful and be back by supper time." Her mother instructed.
"Promise!" Lily hollered excitedly as she trotted down the path and into the woods, heading towards the hill that many of her and her friends normally met up at. By the time Lily reached the hill she remembered that; Cobalt had soccer today, Erica had ballet, and Edward had fencing lessons, what was she going to do? A bit sad. Lily trudged down the hill, her artist bag trailing behind her, she didn't really know where exactly she was, because this was farther than she had ever travelled not the woods before, but when she looked up the landscape that unfolded in front of her caused her to gasp as it took the breath right from her lungs. It was perfect, she quickly set up her easel, put her canvas on it, and readied her palette and paints.
Over an hour and a half later, Lily was finally done, she wiped the back of her hand across her forehead and smiled, very proud of her newest painting, it was dazzling, she was able to capture the glistening surface of the lake just right, the swaying of the evergreen trees, the looming mountains in the distance, and the beautiful Spring flowers that dotted the entire hillside. It was her best piece of work yet, she waited another half hour or so for the paint to dry and then she packed up and headed home, her entire family thought that the painting was phenomenal and were very proud of Lily. That day, had just been the Perfect Day, with Lily taking the opportunity to spot the Perfect Moment.
Why do you want this Viscet/what you'll do with it if you win: If I win Lily then I will definitely show her off on CAAA, and I will most likely order some art for her and make some of my own. Since I just got a new scanner for my computer I can scan in my sketches/traditional artwork and it will open it in a program where I can digitally color it in/outline/edit it. So I will definitely be making more art of Lily, I love her composure and the detail with which she was drawn. c: I love how she glows and the color palette that the artist chose, not to mention those colors chosen blend very well together. And I would happily Lily in some of my many comics, and/or art pieces/series that I draw on a daily basis, she would be an amazing addition and if I win Lily I can't wait to start including her in many of my series, and playing around with her. c:
