Rukami (Gulo Stantes) are a newly discovered species of bipedal mammals. Though they resemble wolves, they are actually more closely related to the mustelid family, which includes wolverines, otters, and badgers to name a few. Through natural selection, these rare animals evolved to incredible sizes and developed sentient brains along with opposable thumbs.

why do you want this kami? My best friend passed away due to cancer/suicide left year on Christmas eve. This design reminds me so much of her- the answers are all based on my friend, including the name.

what other kami -if any?: (I have 4 other Kami, and my custom on the way) Jasper doesn't have anyone else. He's still looking, but craves the love he generally doesn't get because of his tough, fighting nature. He likes to appear as a loner and like he can care for himself by himselg - really he wants someone, though, to spend his life with and keep him company in his strictly-marked and protected territory. Someone he doesn't have to worry about leaving unattended in the most secret hiding places of his.

what is something they are good at?: Jasper is good at walking and running. He has amazing stamina, and can out distance a lot of fellow Kami in a race, even if they may beat him in speed. He can also fight for a long time if the pain isn't to much. He is a bit slow, however, as he likes to pace himself which causes him to rely strongly on strength and wits to stay away from his deathbed.

what do they hate the most?: Jasper really hates being beaten in a fight or argument, being lied to, and the feel of wood beneath his feet. He's afraid being beaten will show him as weak, and cause others to take pity on him and mock him. Especially smaller Rukami. He also hates being wrong, because he always needs to be a thought ahead of anyone except a significant other. Wood just...it's uneven, and scratched his feet.

what are they afraid of?: Jasper doesn't want to be alone forever and fears abandonment, and others hating him. But also fire, and drowning, because those are two things he wouldn't be able to fight off and depending on the situation may one day be unavoidable.

do they have any family?: Not that he's in contact with. They're out there, but Jasper doesn't live with them anymore. During his mid-adolescence, Jasper left his family pack to become a loner until meeting the perfect mate for himself.

fight or flight?: Fight. Jasper would rather die than be beaten in a fight and have to live with it. He sees it as a sign of weakness, depending on who it is he's fighting, and while he knows emotional strength is also important physical strength is what others tend to judge on most.

why do you want this kami?: He's simple, yet elegant/appealing to me. And the perfect colors/designs to start on a concept I've had in mind for a long while <3 I also adore the warm colors, as I love reds and oranges and creams just add a nice soft touch. I can't explain it, I just love how he looks and I also love the concept I can already see forming behind his design! However while his design is nice, Jasper is a character concept I've had for a while and I've been dying to use the personality and give the idea a face. I'm glad I finally found a Rukami I could do that with, but while there could be others in the future...this babe right here fits perfectly for me. From the shading to the eyes adding an ominous flare to the bleeding cream "stripes," he looks like a Rukami who could cause a bit of trouble but who could also just want someone to spend his life with so he doesn't die alone.
And most my Kami are pack Kami anyway. Fluttering Bird, Mocking Rain and his two sons, they all stuck together. I think having a more lonely Rukami would be interesting to develope, especially when he's living surrounded by packs who have what he desires so much.

what is something they are good at sticking up for themselves. not in the impolite way of always having attitude when talking to someone else, but if this rebel feels threatened or in a sticky situation, he will definitely work his way out no problem. sly.
what do they hate the most the wind. he hates the breeze, especially when it ruffles his fluff and causes high pitched noises, like whisltling, to hurt his ears.
what are they afraid of kamikaze likes to pretend he's all that without a fear in the world, but on the inside he truly is afraid of the dark. funny, because he has to sleep through it all night, every night, and push through. most often times he likes to brush up to cave walls like it's a teddy bear, his own comfort mechanism, despite the flat that it's a rough, cold, flat surface and he can't hug it.
do they have any family grown up all alone and to fend for himself, he learned how to be independent at an early, early age. not because he wanted to, but because he had to. he's been all alone since a pup, abandoned and left to die.
fight or flight flight unless it's a sitation that actually ruffles his feathers. he is not interested in childish fighting and, if he doesn't feel particularly antsy or upset at the other being in question, he will most likely leave them alone to cool off. he only grants fighting when he needs to.
why do you want this kami to be honest, i am crazy in love with this guys colors. i love his front two legs and how the white dips down like that, along with the markings under his eyes and the blazing look of the eyes themselves. not only that, but as soon as i saw him a character, or personality, started forming in my head and Kamikaze was the first name I thought of calling him, which sticks to him like glue.

what is something they are good at?:

Weaving blankets out of coloured yarn to show pictures through them of history or stories. Like comics without words on the blanket. She enjoys doing it a lot and is quite talented with it. Sorren usually can sell them for a lot but she often give them out for free to those that need some warmth during the colder nights.

what do they hate the most?:

Probably spiders, she believes heavily in the Greek Gods and the story of the weaver angering Athena, who turned the woman into a spider. They're also really creepy and scary looking to her and she can't shake the look of them when the slink over the ground with their eight little legs.

what are they afraid of?:

Probably same as the above but adding on heights as she, though she wished to fly one day, has a immobilizer fear of falling and death. Being up high sets her off a lot and, if she looks down, she could faint on the spot which is no fun for her or anyone around her,

do they have any family?:

Yes. She's related to Hato, who is her cousin. Thought they rarely see each other, she loved her relative well enough.

why do you want this kami?:

Souren ifs just a amazing character, well designed, and containing a lot of my favorite colours and design outcomes. Not to mention that the character I want to create for her would be a interesting one at most and would fit well along side my other Rumaki. I would love to draw her some too, roleplay with her, and one day find her a nice mate after fully developing her personality and giving her a full on history.

Name: Raginmund, his name is of Frankish and German origin. It is composed of the elements ragin "advice, counsel," and mund "protection," hence "wise protector."
For young individuals, he usually introduces himself as Rah, or Ragin, as it is an easier name to pronounce. Those in his pack, though, call him Fox. This came in part because of his coat colors, but also because of the mythology that Aislynn heard that they provide guidance and are wise.

What other kami -if any?: I own nine total, including, Saoirse, Kamau, Isoba, Senka, and Liridon~
As for Raginmund, he doesn't mind other 'Kami, as they are a part of his life.
what is something they are good at? He is really good at telling paths of the future. Some call this fortune telling, some witchcraft, others come up with their own names. But he reads dwhat he can of the fates' possiblef future paths and offers this information to others for small trinkets or food depending. Though his preference is to use all avenues available to him - stars, bones, the Rukami itself, as well as the elements sometimes - he is capable of giving a fortune through only one avenue.
Along with this, because of his unique skill, he needs to always be attentive. So he is always highly aware of his surroundings, changes in things, and so on.

What do they hate the most? They hate destroyers - those who carelessly ruin nature as if it belongs to them or owed them it's service. Other than that, he finds some things nuisances, but really doesn't hate much.

What are they afraid of? He fears the destruction of the humans as much as he hates it. He worries of their carelessness for nature at times and how it may come to evict - or worse yet, kill off - the small family group he has managed to find and help support.

Do they have any family? He hasn't kept in touch with his parents, and was a single kit, but he does live with other Rukami. As odd of a group as they make, he lives in a small territory not too far from humans, with Aislynn, Liridon, Arjana, and Lesedi. Isoba sometimes visits and stays with them to help, but he has yet to be able to settle down.

Fight or flight? Flight. Though he is perfectly capable of fighting, Ragimund would rather avoid all physical confrontation if at all possible. He will defend the kits in his care with his life, but that is the only reason he is likely to fight. Verbal battles and battles of will are a different matter though.

Why do you want this kami? I'm not quite sure, other than the fact that I feel like I connected with his design. I feel like he's the perfect glue I need to have my own small pack, since otherwise I have almost all wanderers without him (only two pack/tribe 'Kami). I love the simplicity, but character in his horns and the little nuances of his design, so since he called so strongly to me, I figured I had to try him out~

Relationships
Aislynn Raginmund and Aislynn aren't any sort of great friend or anything. He strongly disapproves of her thieving and thinks she can find something else to quell the urge to take things. Still, they get along alright and work together fairly well. Though they have strong personalities, their desire to provide for the kits is usually stronger than that of their need to argue with one another.

Liridon He isn't as close to this white kit as with the twins, since Liri is quite attached to Aislynn. He encourages her exploring and climbing, but tries to sway her to not steal as much - though it doesn't work out. They sometimes butt heads because of her being rebellious. However, in the end, Liridon loves Raginmund and he knows that; and he loves her and will take care of her and be there for her no matter what.

Lesedi She is very much a conflicting personality with Raginmund, which he finds amusing. One moment, she is attached to him and is like the stereotypical 'daddy's girl' sort of thing; the next, she is huffing at him that he is too overbearing and she wants to be left alone. Raginmund doesn't mind, since he has pretty much raised this female and her brother, so he is used to their personalities. He considers the pair to be the kits he never had and dotes on them.

Arjana This is the 'kami he is the closest to. Arjana is very much interested in what he does and is often by the older male's side. He loves to be around older Rukamis, thinking he is old enough to do what they do, but really just so he can spend time with them. Wherever Raginmund is, Arjana usually isn't that far behind. They are very close to one another, for certain.

Jumping, he uses his speed to rescue humans
and kits from danger, although he's quite fast and tries to make
sure if it's a human he's helping he kicks up he speed to make
sure they can't see him well.
What do they hate the most?:
He hate's getting laughed at by others,
he can be called weak because his is a little scrawnier then
others, as he's better as running or jumping then fighting.
He also hates seeing any humans or kit's injured or attacked
by the more nasty older Rukami or anything else that could
harm them.
What are they afraid of?:
Getting trapped into a position where
he'd have to fight, and couldn't escape. Also when he
tries to save someone and fails, probably the biggest
fear of his.

No, he had never known his parents
or kins, but a wise older Rukami had taught him the
ways before it had died from old age.

Flight. He was never a good fighter,
he's actually scrawnier then most Rukami,
his his light weight helps himself jump higher and
run faster.

Oh my god the story and designs are
amazing! Out of every one I love this one,
mostly because of the horns and my

I really, really want this Kami not just because I don't have one, but because I'm looking
