Tall, lean frame, round ears, and bright eyes, Xholis are diurnal, hierarchal, and intelligent species that wield the forces of nature. Xholis are social animals that can be recognized into 2 different clans. The ones that hunt at dusk, and those that hunt at dawn. Their pelt reflects their environment as the Dusk hunters tend to have darker palette while the Dawn hunters are significantly lighter. Between those two clans, the species are once again split into more diverse and specialized packs. Fire, Earth and Water are the most common forces of nature that each Xholi wields. The gem they are born with determines their attribute, which is effected by the parent's gems. Every Xholi is given a role befitting their status in the pack, and the leader of the each pack is expected to keep the peace.

Gökotta - to wake up early in the morning with the purpose of going outside to hear the first birds sing. As a dusk xholi, it's an activity that few would dare to even enjoy, but it delights him nonetheless everyday to hear the birds chirping at first light. Unlike many other xholis that are usually bound strictly to their code and customs, Varouj likes to stretch it a bit, taking after a small hobby at the first wake of dawn. It's rather refreshing to listen to, like a warm call from one of nature's many gifts, something he has come to enjoy.

You sometimes get a strong feeling of loneliness; always out of the blue and unwanted. You don't really know why. There are always people around you, not to mention all of the loving family and friends you have.

Maybe it happens when you see the bonded couples. When you see them radiating happiness and contentment. You have always wanted that since you were young. You see how much your parents love each other, and you want that.

You'd be lying to yourself if you didn't say that you already know who you want it with.

Somehow, you feel a pull towards him. Always have ever since you first locked eyes with him. You still remember that exact moment. His eyes were so clear and bright. His emerald green gem had shined even if the sun was falling in the sky. He had given a little smile and it seemed like he didn't dare break the eye contact. You felt the same way.

After that moment, you see him a lot. He is also a Savant, though he is a Savant Hunter rather than a Gatherer like you are. When you see him it is mostly just you and him locking eyes and not looking away for what seemed like forever. You have had maybe two proper conversations; you are both always so busy with your Apprentices.

When you look into his eyes, you know that you're on the same page. You can practically have a conversation with him just with eye contact. You both know what you want, you are both just too scared to say anything.

Scared of what, you don't know. You don't know what he would be scared of either.

You sometimes wonder which one of you will break first. Which one of you will finally say something about what you are both feeling so strangely and strongly.

You hope that it will be him. You are too scared to say anything.

Though, you are not scared that nothing will ever happen. You feel it in your bones that everything will change for you.

And that is the most important part of this connection you have with him. Whenever you lock eyes with him and know that you both want the same thing, you feel less alone. Whenever you have that crippling sense of loneliness, it seems that he is always nearby to stomp it down.

You know that he will always be there to stop the loneliness.
