Guardian Foxes are about the size of a full grown German Shepherd dog.
They have ears similar to those of a Fennec Fox, a species which
they are closely related to. They are given feathers, which are attached
to their tails, when they are born. Full grown Guardians typically have a
feather behind one or both of their ears.They are also born with a mist
surrounding their eyes, paws, and tails. This mist is used to capture a human's
dreams or nightmares.
Their soft coats can be any color or pattern. Pastel colors are most common,
they are often dual toned or even chimeric.

how'd he get the Quills?: sevys was born with the quills actually, thought they hadnt stuck straight up until he had gotten to be 4. Sevys had been following some bullies and saw them about to beat up a smaller guardian fox and jump in front of the younger fox growling protectively. the bullies got closer nonetheless, and sevys stepped towards them in return, and as his fur spiked up, so did the quills which surprised the bullies, who ran off afraid of what sevys would do to them with the quills. Sevys puffed his chest up in pride before turning to check on the smaller gf and she pointed out his quills to him, for he hadnt noticed them. He blinked and looked back and saw them and was rather proud of them for he could help others a bit more. Sevys now uses them to chase away the guardian foxes who want to cause trouble for any friend in need, or even use them in defense if he has to fight.
