Unlike the other lady of her herd, Dioxide is a much more gentle soul with an even temper and a pleasant attitude. She's softer spoken, but this doesn't mean that she'll simply allow her opinions to be overlooked because she doesn't raise her voice. Dioxide is a mare who holds manners to a high standard for both males and females with or without a herd, wild or domesticated; if someone is able to process advanced, or even basic, thinking then they should be able to regard another creature with a general respect and courtesy. She doesn't tolerate bad attitudes or poor manners despite her gentle nature, and often prides herself on educating the young foals of the herd on how to be proper. At one point she even attempted to take on the challenge of teaching Kendall manners, but the fiery young lady was just far too stubborn for Dioxide to handle, and eventually the mare found herself unable to be close to the other mare. They, during most conversations, end up getting into "disagreements" by Dioxide's own words. It usually ends in Dioxide curtly excusing herself from the conversation, leaving and ignoring the angered shouts of Kendall as she goes to stand beside her closest friend and the leader of the herd, Alibaster. Though the opportunity to teach Kendall what she considers manners is long gone, Dioxide is eager and constantly attempting to turn Whittaker into a "true gentleman" while even daring to go to the lengths of coaxing the young colt into "dancing" with her. Her form of dancing is simply raising one leg, lightly wiggling the lifted hoof, and then switching to another leg in a delicate little hop while making sure to keep on the opposite movements of the other Equid participating. She does this to instill what she believes is the finest way to court in Whittaker so, when the time comes, he will know how to properly impress and dance with a lady!
