I just saying that its not fair to those who have or already bid extremely high.


Also. What if you win one for 60k? Most of the dees are going for over 20k.
So then you won't be able to win another one, even though you didn't hit the limit?

It's as fair as it's going to get. If people some people have over 100k then they could get all the belldandys.
There will also be "flatsale" dees for the people who only have, say 20k left. We are trying our hardest to make this as fair as possible, please understand that ;3;

I'd like if there was a few where you had to have say 4,000 points to enter, and it was a regular contest where you pick a name and a gender or something.
As I don't have time to be constantly waiting for flat sales and evade snipers. >A>

This new rule seems perfectly acceptable to me. Emmigator is only trying to do what she thinks is best, and the staff are popping out dees like nobody's business. I think instead of complaining, or saying that it isn't fair, I think we should all take a moment to appreciate all that Emmigator and the staff have done for us. Even though there are some users that have done so much complaining, the staff are still doing their darnest to make everyone happy. There isn't a limit to how much you can give to charity, and I think it's a bit selfish to be earning rice just for dees. The dees are just rewards for feeding the hungry, not incentive. The incentive should be that you're doing a good deed. The rule is so that a user with over 200k points doesn't get to win all the dees, while those who are too busy to earn so much don't get any at all.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say, is that this super nice thing that Emmigator created to feed the hungry and reward users for their efforts, has been horribly corrupted into the idea that more incentive should be placed on feeding hungry people.
I, for one, will still play freerice as much as possible even when this event is over, even if I don't get a dee in the process, because this isn't about me, or you, or us. It's about the people we're trying to feed.
If you have a problem with me saying my opinion, take me up on a pm, we shouldn't be dragging this precious thread down with hate. I would hate for someone to bust out an argument with me here while others are trying to happily win dees.

Guys please understand that the cap is 80k so one person doesn't buy 4 dees and then other people don't get any.
This isn't about who can buy the most dees. Don't just buy dees just to buy them. Buy them because you have a connection to the character.

I approve of this new rule. Emmigator, is doing a good deed for all of the people who have created their accounts this year. For example, what if someone had 100k grains of rice? They'd be able to buy out almost all of the dees, leaving no chance for the newer people with fresh accounts and presumably with less rice. Emmigator is also saying that she is putting a cap of amount of rice for the event, NOT the charity. She is not limiting you on how much rice you can earn to feed the hungry, you can earn as much rice as you want to feed the hungry for all I know!

btw Emmigator it says the cap says 80 on the front.. i thought the cap of rice was 80 grains of rice, i was so confused at first cx

NEW RULE
We have put a limit on the amount of points you can use for this event. You can use up to 80k of your earnings on your freerice profile. We are doing this so it is more fair for everyone. Once you gain 80k points, you may not gain any more and once you use 80k points, there is no gaining any more so choose the dees you really love to bid on!

You cannot do this.
Some people have already earned over this amount and this is incredibly unfair to those who have.
Next time you hold a competition like this, consider all possible outcomes before you open it.
You cannot change the rules half way through a competition; it's unfair to everyone involved.
