Today has been a very busy day but it's one that I cannot wait to blog about. Today I finally was able to pick up my Guardian Fox to train! I had filled out all the forms and paperwork a month ago and today I was finally able to meet him and take him home. I do admit, I was nervous. Scratch that, extremely nervous! I didn't know what he looked like, I was only told what color he was (blue trindle, a color I have never even heard of until then), I didn't know if the name chose would even fit his looks and personality. Heck, I was afraid of him not even liking me.

I filled out the final amount of paperwork and they brought him to me. He. Is. Adorable. He was shy when they brought him out - I could tell that he's not the best with strangers with his nervous looks, but he was quite gentle at the same time. When they gave me the leash I knelt down to his level to make him feel more comfortable and allowed him to sniff me. I don't want to take things too fast for him. I asked the lady at the desk [out of curiosity] if he had a rough past to make him so nervous around strangers. She didn't seem to know that much about him, but did say that he had a previous owner who surrendered him. I may not know what happened in his past but I still love Zan'kir with ever flaw he may have.
