Favorite thing to do when the weather is warm:

Kai is a cheerful Plumerian who lives in the Philippines,
in Canlaon City. Despite living in a country in which there
are typhoons and such, this misfortune fails to overwhelm
his happiness are he frolics in this tropical wonderland.
The temperature is almost always warm in the Philippines,
even though it might not be summer! So, being hot all the
time, Kai spends a lot of time outside, seizing the day by
doing many fun and amusing activities. These activities
include: swimming in the ocean, looking for seashells,
exploring the forests, and talking to his neighbors and
fellow plumies. He also enjoys building little rockets or
bird houses out of natural materials and leaving them out
for birds to live in or people to play with. But, Kai's
favorite thing to do: Pick mangoes. He loves mangoes!
He likes tracking them down while exploring in the woods,
and biting into to the juicy goodness while watching the waves
crash along the beach. It is quite sticky and it's hard to
get out of his fur but, he doesn't mind. As long as he can
enjoy his precious moments with his beloved fruit, everything
is good for him!

Carnival is aptly named, for their favorite warm-weather activity is to celebrate. During the summer months, they travel around to as many fairs and festivals as they can.

They don't visit these event for the games, or the rides- not even the sugary food. No, they like to see the smiles and happy faces of the attendees. Carnival is notorious for winning stuffed animals for disappointed children or bringing snacks for the show-animals.

On especially hot days, they usually settle in the shade with a cool drink or possibly a frozen treat and watch the families enjoying the fair. Sometimes they fetch water for the show animals or lend a hand to tired volunteers.
