Name;
Ivan Sotnik Zielkov
Gender;
Male
Favorite activity during Easter;
Ivan was always proud of the Russian blood flowing through his veins. The cool brisk air fit his fancy well and never troubled his dense fur, especially not today. No cold nor chill could stop him from venturing out to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Easter morning, tens of thousands of Orthodox Christians like himself were gathering in the Cathedral for the ceremony celebrating the rebirth of Christ. As Ivan found his way inside the grand monument, he recalled with fondness the celebration of the year prior. Beautiful traditions and a grand feast awaited after 40 days of lent. A watering mouth greeted him at the thoughts of a large feast is held after the service. Excitement rose in him as he thought back to the lovely eggs being painted and the fine, traditional cakes and babka being baked. The sweet smell of raisin bread was almost tangible before his nostrils. To him and many others, it was not only a celebration of the rebirth of Jesus Christ, but also the end of Lent, so he had every intention of milking this day to it's fullest.
Ivan's favorite part of this fantastic holiday, however, is not one you may think. After the service, the caramel bunny plumerian bolted out to his vehicle parked many lots away due to the crowd, nearly skidding on the ice. He'd been waiting for this moment some time now, and with anticipation the large male drew forth a large, multi-layered tray, which he carried back by hand. When he arrived back at the massive crowd bustling about the streets to the houses of family and friends, he easily made his way to the home in which his family always gathered. The tall, looming house was always somewhat eerie, but on this day never had it looked more inviting and... warm. Ivan brisked his way inside, placing the trays on the table and making sure everything was absolutely perfect.
Before the holiday meal each season, Ivan always crafts small sheep made of butter to be used on rolls, cakes, toast or just eaten outright. He's always preferred them on raisin bread, one of his favorite foods, and takes great care and pride in their creation.
