Sexuality & Them: Sake is bi-sexual, but leans more towards males. She often gets teased by her friends or family members about it, but she doesn't care.

Describe their Bedroom: Her walls are a light mint green, while she has quite a small bed with fish designs on her sheets. She likes taking photos of every new Japanese food she eats. So she frames each one and hangs them on her wall. Of course, her plush Octopus sits on her dresser. Sake likes to keep her room neat and tidy, so she doesn't have much than what she really needs. But, she does have some things she considers special. That includes exotic Japanese purfumes and stamps.

Conversation:

"So, how was your day dear?"
"Good, I suppose. Wiggles had dust on him.." Sake complained to her mother, her voice lowered due to her disappointment.
"Don't you think it's time to get rid of that old thing?" Sake's mother questioned, looking at her.
"No! Never! Wiggles is, like, my only true friend!"
With a sigh, Sake's mother shook her head. "What ever you say, dear."

About the Plushie: Sake likes to call her plush octopus friend Wiggles. He has been with her since she was just a small pup, and she won't trade him for the world. Whenever Sake's afraid, she holds Wiggles close to her, reminding herself that he will always be there.

Hobby: "I want to pursue a career on Marine Biology! I often sits in my room and study the water wildlife for hours on end. Since I was younger, I often looked at my plush octopus a lot, thinking about it more and more. I now study the ocean creatures!"

How they show Affection: With a mini chirp. Sake herself finds it weird, but it just comes out like that. With her close friends and loved ones, she'll brush cheeks with them to show she truly cares for them. Sake thinks it makes herself stand out, or 'special'.

One Quirk: Sake is defiant. She will try her hardest to get her way before she gives up. Especially if it's for something she wants desperately. Most of her Japanese souvenirs she gained were from begging her parents.

Breaking Point: If someone shunned her forever, or broke her heart. Rejection is her fear, and she'll never manage to fix herself after that.

Childhood:
It's just the first day. It'll be okay..I though as I walked through the doors and into the large halls. Maybe I'll see some of my old friends! I thought hopefully. Today was my first day of Middle School, and my heart felt two emotions; excitement and nervousness. I pondered where I should go next. I was new, so nothing looked familiar. "Hey! Sake!" I heard my name being called. Turning my head, I saw a close friend of mine from elementary. "It's been so long!"

Irritation: When a waiter puts too much wasabi on her sushi. Sake doesn't like such spicy stuff. A smaller pet peeve of hers is when people lie to her.

Goals for the Future: As said before, Sake wants to pursue a career in Marine Biology. Sake also wants to grow up with a healthy family, and around one to two kids.

name: otemoto (おてもと); chopstick in japanese. also goes by hashi (箸), which also means chopstick, but only by close friends.

gender: male

sexuality & them: otemoto is a heterosexual male, sticking rigidly to dating females, and females only. he really isn't looking for a relationship, due to his child-like personality, and his bad habit of being late to everything. (picking up dates included). he gets dumped very often. he opts for a plain and simple, but elegant female, but usually values personality over outer appearance. he's (obviously) very much a single pringle, and is perfectly fine staying that way. he prefers to stay old fashion and straight, but is perfectly fine with friends with different types of sexuality. describe their bedroom: surprisingly enough, otemoto's room is perfectly clean. (excluding some random thrown around here and there). he enjoys keeps things neat and in line, despite his outward appearance to everyone else. (unprepared and messy). otemoto's room is modern and bright, two walls a red-ish orange, and two walls a vibrant green, to match his pelt. he has a huge stack of comic books in (neat) piles in one corner, and a comfortable futon lying in the middle of the floor. he has a sort of obsession with lamps; they're everywhere, even though some of them do not match the room itself. a normal, hormonal day:
this pair is sitting outside otemoto's apartment, making small talk.
sashimi (friend): (squeals out loud and claps paws, pointing at a pretty female plumie) "that one's a cutie, go ask her out, hashi!"
otemoto: (smirks playfully) "no thank you, sashimi. i'm not looking for a relationship at the moment. besides, i would like to get to know a person before i make any sort of move."
sashimi: (shakes head) "otemoto! you're lonely, i can tell! behavior like this isn't healthy! we all need some sort of companionship!"
otemoto: "you're just crazy for drama and weird love stories, silly. why don't you go read some more romeo and juliet?"
sashimi: (deadpans) "i've already read it at least twenty or so times"
otemoto: (chuckles) "whatever."
sashimi: "you need to dry clean your outfit. it's filthy."
otemoto: (eyebrows raise a little as he stares at his semi-clean tee) you're right. ate too much sushi, ya know? you known how messy i can get."
sashimi: (rolls eyes) "i know. and as your friend, i am determined to make sure that you break the habit of a messy front."
otemoto: "unfortunately, i am a lost cause. i can never refrain from getting dirty!"
sashimi: (gives a challenging glance) "i can change that."
otemoto: "by all means, give it a try. prepare to be thoroughly disappointed." (looks at watch) "ouch, looks like i'm late to a conference. i guess this conversation will be a to be continued?"
sashimi: "you bet. i'm not letting this one go."

about the plushie: my plush was an accident, actually. i went to the store one day with mother and stole it. i didn't understand, i was just a kid. after a lecture from mom, i ended up paying back the manager, (with my own money!), to remind myself do to the right thing. hobby: you raise an eyebrow when you enter otemoto's apartment. lamps, lamps, they were everywhere. arranged around your friend's room, all different colors and shapes. what was this? "hashi...? mind explaining?" he laughs nervously in reply and makes his way to a bright green lamp leaning against a wall. is he... petting it? he answers after a moment of silence. "um... i like to collect lamps?" he replies, as if asking you a question. "i can tell." you laugh a little. "i they're... pretty cool, yeah?" hashi's face breaks out into a grin. how he shows affection: i gulped as i stared at sashimi's front door. finally gathering enough nerve, i knock, and she answers. "hashi! what do you want?" i hold out the object. pale pink, with elegant swirls. perfectly sashimi. "for you. to being friends." sashimi laughs, and soon after, i join in. "a lamp?" one quirk: drumming his paws along to his own beat, otemoto bounced back and forth between his own imagination and real life. "will you stop that?" growled tadashi, glaring at him. childhood: why is mother staring at nothing? why are her eyes... cloudy? "mom?" no response.
maybe she was trying to be funny. "mom. you can stop now, you've got me scared."
running to the house phone as fast as i could, i dialed the familiar numbers for emergency that i had been taught for years. the three number i thought i'd never lose.
"what's your emergency?"
"my m-mother. s-shes..." i clenched my octopus tighter.
"you okay, honey? it'll be okay, i swear."
i was not okay. far from okay.
turns out, emergency lady was lying. it did not turn out okay. [ one hundred more depressing words ]

irritation: snap. snap. snap. "will you quit that?" otemoto snapped, shooting a venomous glare at his friend. "stop what?" sashimi giggled, obnoxiously snap her jaws together again. "good god, you know how much i hate that noise." sashimi flat out laughed at him at that point. "that's why i'm doing it." [ fifty words ]

goals for the future: otemoto hopes to one day create a sort of hotline for suicide and depression help, to prevent other people from doing the same thing his mother did long ago. though there are plenty out there, he still wants to come up with another, just to offer to service. [ forty eight words ]
