Personality: Melodía is very shy. She rarely is social and is usually reading or drawing. When she isn't doing that, she is listening to music. Melodía loves music. Ever since she was young, it was a obsession. She wears white and neon blue headphones to listen to music. Anyway, Melodía is still a gentle person. She smiles often in spite of her lonelyness. It's just hard to see through the mask of quietness and shyness to the kind-hearted person that's really inside.

Quirks: Melodía is extremely shy. She just is afraid no one will like her the way she really is, so she keeps quiet. She also has a strange habit of becoming very clumsy when she is embarrassed.

History: When Melodía was very young, she was happy. She was outgoing and loud and joyful. But one day, her parents left. Melodía waited and waited, but they did not come. In a few days, she was stuck in a orphanage. Her joyful personality slowly became a shy and quiet one. She hated the orpahage. While all the cute Parras were adopted, Melodía sat there, alone. One night, she stepped out of the orpahage and into the rainy darkness of that night. She escaped! Melodía took only two things: her headphones, and her favorite book, "Wildwood".

Legend is an absolute theater nerd. The problem? He never seems to land a part. He doesn't have a problem with stage crew, of course - costume design is something he especially enjoys - but Legend has grown tired of watching from the wings of the stage, blending in with the curtains. However, he never begrudges those who get the parts he tries out for. Instead, he supports everyone in the theater family, both onstage and backstage.
Quirks?:
When practicing for a part he wants, he tends to begin talking in that character's voice. For example, if the character is female, he speaks in falsetto, and if the character has an accent, he uses that accent. At first, he did this knowingly as a way to prepare, but it has become something he does without thinking. Sometimes he also breaks out into a random voice/accent when nervous.

"Hey, Legend!"
Legend turned to see his friend Stormy sprinting to catch up with him. Eyes sparkling, she asked, "What part are you trying out for?" Legend had decided to try for a part in a production of Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, which he had in fact been able to see performed on Broadway.
Legend grinned bashfully. "Prince Topher. You trying out?"
She shook her head. "I think I'll stick to the audience." Legend sighed inwardly. Stormy had a beautiful voice and superb acting skills, but despite his repeated urging she never tried out for anything.
She was always willing to help Legend practice for tryouts, though. "It's a musical, right? Want me to help you practice a song?"
Legend smiled gratefully. "I'd really appreciate it if you'd take the other part in this duet here." He turned the lyric paper so that she could see it. "It's called 'Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?'
"Aww. . .thank you," Stormy teased. "But I already know that I'm beautiful."
Legend, used to her jokes, chose to roll his eyes and move on. "So, uh, look over that, I guess, and then we can try it from the top?"
"Sure thing." Stormy curled her tail around her paws and bent over the lyric sheet, mouthing the words to herself.
After a few minutes, she sat up and said, "Okay, I'm ready. Start whenever you are."
Legend nodded and took a deep breath, starting up gently. "Do I love you because you're beautiful? Or are you beautiful because I love you?" Stormy nodded, checking to make sure he was singing the right words and hitting all the notes. "Am I making believe I see in you a girl too lovely to be really true?" Stormy nodded again, a small smile pulling at her lips.
His confidence bolstered, Legend continued, a bit louder now. "Do I want you because you're wonderful? Or are you wonderful because I want you?" Stormy was no longer looking at the paper; now she met Legend's eyes. "Are you the sweet invention of a lover's dream? Or are you really as wonderful as you seem?" Emotion coursed through Legend's veins as he sang the line.
Silently, Stormy pushed the paper over to Legend as they counted the rests. Then it came time for Stormy's part.
She took a breath, and began singing in sweet tones that Legend was all too familiar with. "Am I making believe I see in you a man too perfect to be really true?" Her eyes closed as she allowed the passion to flow past her lips. "Do I want you because you're wonderful? Or are you wonderful because I want you?"
Now came time for the two parts to combine. Their eyes locked, Legend's red ones and Stormy's purple ones, neither of them looking at the paper any longer. "Are you the sweet invention of a lover's dream?" Their voices intertwined into a single beautiful sound. As one, they breathed in to sing the last line. "Or are you really as wonderful-" pause - "as you seem?"
For a few seconds they just stared at each other as the last echoes of the song faded away. Then Stormy smiled. "And now we kiss," she teased, tapping his beak playfully with her paw. "What an elaborate ploy to try and earn a kiss from The Magnificent Queen Stormy!"
Legend goofily rolled over onto his back. "A theater nerd can dream, my queen," he lamented dramatically. "Alas, you have discovered me!"
"Indeed I have" she agreed. "And indeed he can."

(Just to be clear, I didn't intend this to be romance between Legend and Stormy. It was just supposed to be more like they're awed by each other's singing talent and then they go back to their easy friendship, but I'm not quite sure it came across properly.)
