Picture of where they live:

His greatest fear(extra 1): Phorcys swallowed nervously as he stepped of his cavernous home, flinching as the low-hanging icicles brushed against his dark pelt. He shook his head to clear his negative thoughts and moved forward, lifting his tail so that it didn't drag on the frozen grounds. He frowned as he padded down the curve of the hill, claws scraping against the frozen water to keep himself from sliding down. A piece of ice broke free and started hurtling toward him. He hardly had enough time to react to what was about to happen; his claws had still been grilling the piece of ice he'd been standing on and the chilly breeze made it difficult for him to move with desired swiftness. He hissed and ducked his head, moving out of the way and cowering beside one of the clusters of sharp ice, tail wrapped protectively around his body as he awaited the impact of ice against him.
It didn't come.
He lifted his head, confused. That was, until he glanced over his shoulder. Phorcys let out a started yelp as he caught sight of the large hole that had appeared behind him, where the block of ice had been sliding down. He moved away from where he'd been hiding and lumbered toward the hole, peering inside.
Water.
There was so much water.
Now, Phorcys, though being related to multiple gods of water, had a phobia of the ocean. He was known for the irony that was himself. Imagine that. A water god afraid of water.
He wrinkled his nose in distaste and squinted at the sun. That's right. Summer was at its peak, meaning that there would be more water on his part. This also meant that the water god would have to start moving if he wanted to get to higher grounds before the ice started melting.
"This is stupid." he mumbled as he walked away from the watery hole. His tail, though, had its own mind. It dipped into the water, and he guessed that this was because of the slight curve in the side of the hole from where his paws had been, and he yelped again.
His immediate reaction was to turn around and hiss at the hole, but this only caused more problems for him. He bit his tongue as he started sliding backwards, directly into the large body of water beneath him. He gasped as freezing water lapped at his pelt, the striking-blue around his neck now dark and dulled. He groaned and tried to move forward, but again, his weight was against him completely. He dipped back again, jaw open to scream in distress, but nothing came out. He couldn't form any sound as he was plunged into the water, a small wave capsizing him as he tried to break the surface again. He swallowed a large amount of the salty water and sputtered, desperately clawing at the chunk of ice nearest to him, doing anything and everything in his power that would help him out of the water.
He kept slipping back down, his grip not as tight as it could be, and the ice to slippery for him to heave his body onto it. With a shaky breath, he ducked his head under water and opened his eyes. Not a good idea. Instantly, he broke the surface again, gasping and choking, and was clawing at the ice again. He managed, after what seemed like hours, to get out of the water, but not without getting a good scare. His pelt clung to his body and he looked so much smaller than he normally did.
Grumbling to himself, he lugged his body back toward the icy cavern. "Never again," he muttered as he stepped into the darkness. He could practically hear Posiden laughing at his poor attempts to escape his water prison.

In his own little tree. It took him quite awhile and a lot of searching to be able to find a tree that matched his pattern. But that's how his family worked. Once you were old enough you went out and found your own tree that matched you and would hide you well. Every member of the family had there own tree and now he was no different. The branches are a little thin but he was light so it was okay. He loved scrabbling along the branches and feeling them bend to his weight to help him down, and feeling them bounce as he jumped off them, he also loved to make snow fall off them onto things below. He loved taking care of it and making sure there was snow on some branches and no snow or very little on others all so he could hide properly. Though the only times he really hides is when he makes mischief and either gets in trouble or wants to see there faces when they can't tell who just knocked that snow from that branch onto them. Mainly he just loves going about his day, exploring and causing some harmless mischief.
