Why are her eyes closed?;
A lot of people tend to call her silly for keeping her eyes closed nearly all the time, and the reason for that is quite odd as well, to say the least. She simply thinks her imagination is better than what real life has to offer, and she may actually be partially correct. She has always had a wacky and zany imagination ever since she was small, and often let herself believe that fantasy creatures such as trolls, unicorns and dragons actually existed. And once her parents had to share the horrible truth about it all being an urban legend, it simply crushed a small part inside of her. But there was still hope in her, there was a small part of her that refused to let the world be as boring as many people tend to say it is. Therefore she has created her own little world within her mind, and has found herself spending more and more time inside there, instead of the real world. She almost refuses to let her eyes become blinded with dull experiences real life has to offer.

why are her eyes closed?; while her eyes are closed now, they're not permanently closed, and are in fact usually open; but on holidays like today, Christmas (and Halloween/Thanksgiving/Easter/4th of July) Oro closes her eyes to remember those who contributed to- or even died for- the holiday. Being an adept student and with a passion for history, Orotui recognizes the importance of "celebrations" like the Fourth of July on a far deeper level than most. Her extensive knowledge and keen memory serve her well in honoring the soldiers who fought or- in this instance of Christmas- to remember the families who are less fortunate and cannot celebrate with the expensive presents so many take for granted. The majority of her focus is with her eyes closed as it blocks out visual cues and distractions, so she can better remember these holidays in addition to other everyday things.

Orotui closes her eyes on these holidays to remember these people, to recognize their sacrifice and fate and all of the things she knows of the celebrations.

why are her eyes closed?;

ackley hadn't dared to open her eyes for most of her life, scared of what she might see. the first thing she ever saw was her mother, but she was at peace with not opening her eyes. she always thought of the world as cruel and harsh since being teased by other plumies for her different eye colors; it didn't help that pink and white aren't the best mix of colors. since a youngster she's tried to keep her eyes shut as much as possible, and one of the first times she opened them was when she found the flower that now sits atop her head all of the time.

racing into a tree, the plumie let out a loud whimper, as a comical-looking pile of snow collapsed onto the ground beside her, the snow licking her shoulder and leg as it fell. the almost-blended-in being whimpered loudly, falling back and starting to tremble from the cold. she manoeuvred herself around the tree, then continued her now less-than-jolly skip down the snow-covered walkway, pouting to herself and mumbling quietly. after winding over the hills and through bridges and trees, she met with a small opening between some trees. ackley scampered through quickly, starting to pant from exhaustion.

by the time she made her way out to the small field, her hair was a mess and it was doused in snow. she papped her own head to neaten her hair again, her delicate paw coming across an alien material. it felt fragile, and small, and like a tiny leathery firework. the plumie kept petting it, trying to paw it into her palm, before observing carefully and squinting at it. it looked like a snowflake, but made of silk. what was it?

confused, she sniffed and licked gently, trying to get an idea. time passed, until about 10 minutes had flown. she finally decided to open her eyes quickly.

Alouette, is the french word for lark, and this plumie
made me think of a beautiful bird when i saw her.
why are her eyes closed?;
Alouette is blind in her eye left from a childhood accident damaging it, and causing it to not be able to see. She doesn't open it because she believes that if other could could see it, she would be shunned, as it has different coloration than her other eye, when it shouldn't.

Alouette is also a shy plumie. She prefers to be in nature where only the birds will be around her, where she feels it is the only place that she wouldn't be judged. But she realized, after a while, that the wolrd was a much more peaceful place when all you can do is hear, and listen to another, not able to judge someone by the way they look. Alouette prefers to see the world with her eyes closed, so that she can make everything beautiful, no matter what they look like.

Finally, Alouette feels more comfortable with her eyes closed, trusting herself that her paws will be able to take where she needs be. Alouette is rarely seen without someone to help guide her to keep her from dying, or getting seriously hurt.

why are her eyes closed?; When she was little, Natasha was always afraid of her reflection. Not because she hated the way she looked, but because she always saw a faceless version of herself with crudely drawn eyes and smile. It became worse when she stated to receive hallucinations. This greatly disturbed her, so she would huddle in a corner and close her eyes. She soon realized that with her eyes closed, she of course couldn't see a thing. Natasha did this so frequently that she created a world where nothing there could harm her. Naturally, she grew out of it, and her hallucinations stopped. But every once in a while, she returns to her world when she wants to escape.

Nadija does not really like seeing the word, she is afraid she might she something scary or something that could make her o insane so Nadija will stay away from opening her eyes and uses her sense of smell and hearing mostly.

Her eyes are always closed because taking her time to take in the smells without looking. She believes it's always better to see the world through her nose then her eyes, because seeing isn't believing, believing is seeing.

name; Min, named after someone I adore
why are her eyes closed?; Why? Tough question, Min has
too many reasons. But the one reason that outshines them all,
well relates to the term, ignorance is bliss. "Can't I just ignore
the problems of everyone?" Is a question many individuals would
like to ponder in their minds during troubled times, including Min.
Min doesn't want to accept the problems, so she feigns ignorance,
closing her eyes to block out the world. Leaving her oblivious to
the suffering, happiness, wonder of the world around her. She
doesn't like the feeling of pity rushing through every cell of her
body. But yet, she puts her smiling front and best foot forward to
confront the world she doesn't want to see.
