The eyes are the windows to the soul, Froste's mother used to say, then bob her on the nose and add, And yours are the most expressive windows I've ever seen!
Froste's mother was rather eccentric. As well as using that random phrase, she encouraged things that most mothers discouraged, such as the internet, which didn't particularly appeal to Froste.
When Froste grew older, she began to acquire secrets. Maybe she'd hidden someone else's jewelry in the bottom of her sock drawer, or perhaps she'd simply made a wish that felt too personal to tell to anyone else. In any case, her large, soulful eyes gave her away every time, so eventually, when she figured out that she was gay and decided that nobody would ever be allowed to know, she closed her eyes. She found the darkness comforting, so she's remained that way ever since.

why are her eyes closed?; Mari prefers to listen than to see. When her eyes are closed, she can focus on listening to the sounds around her, and can use her imagination to visualise the majority of the world. She does open her eyes, just not often. To help her safely navigate places she isn't extremely familiar with, she has the help of a bird; A blue bird. The bird flies in front of her to tell her to stop, calls out so she can follow the bird's sounds and helps look out for danger.

why are her eyes closed?; You've heard the phrase "don't judge a book by it's cover"? Well, this is Jensen's way to keep herself from judging people by their looks. She was always too quick to judge, and finally just shut her eyes... and found that she would judge more by their words and actions, instead of how they looked, identified, or dressed. As a result, she's definitely happier.

why are her eyes closed?; Winter used to be .....normal.....but one day she saw somebody being mugged and since she had her eyes open she strangely could feel every beat , every lash , every cut being put into this poor plumerians body......she screamed and a telekinetic force came out . She killed millions with just one stare . This made her change , she become more and more secretive......and more and more guilty.......but strangely she wouldn't kill her self.....so she simply kept her eyes just for ever.....and one night she transformed.....she couldn't speak either or hear or open her eyes anymore But she just simply grinned and walked through her bleak , dark and silent world. One day winter died but since she had commited a great sin of murder but by accident......she was sent to the mysterious and unknown.....Neverworld. She didn't want this and instead ran back to the earth as a ghost and now she walks in plumerian's dreams and guides them away from pain and the bleak , dark and silent world which she walked in.

She's asleep, quite simply, or more than halfway there. Aofie has been working the night shift at her local cafe to pay for college. It's not easy and she often only has a few hours to sleep during the day. This as one of them.

Astra – Latin - Means “of the stars”
why are her eyes closed?;
Astra has always had this strange way that she makes her extremely different from others. She can sort and write stuff into her mind, as do some other plumies but very few still exist that know how to Sort. Astra though has a Very Rare ability, one that has only been known of once, hundreds of years ago when wizards still roamed the land, and this ability is to not only to write, but to write magic. She herself is not powerful enough to use the magic, as she does not know how to. Astra has memorized many many spells but only someone who knows how to use magic, or was born with it, will she share her powerful spells with. You may be wondering, "Well would she have to have her eyes closed or not?" And the answer is yes, the ability to Sort is very very powerful at times, because you memorize anything and remember and sort them in your brain like a book. The problem is though, that even regulaur sorting takes a lot and lot of concentration and can often cause stress or even pain to whoever is doing the sorting. To focus deeply on the task at hand of sorting they must keep there eyes closed at all times, never to open them. Many many sorters refuse to do this, as they want to see the outside world, and live a life. Astra however has always been alone, her parents and family abandoning her when they found out about her "dark magic". So over time Astra has developed her Very Rare skill by always keeping her eyes shut, for if you opens them she will lose her concentration. If she lost her concentration then it could take up to a month to regain her concentration to sort, and if she lost her concentration more then 10 times in a year, she could lose her ability, as a VR ability requires a whole lot of focus. She can, however, keep her eyes open for one whole day, and then after that she must close her eyes again for a month and regain her concentration and power before she can open her eyes again. She promised herself though that only with her mate would she do that, only to be on a adventure with whoever her mate will be.

why are her eyes closed?; Vanilla can control people with her eyes, the first time she did it she just kept doing it, some of her friends tried to get her to stop she controlled them to freeze in place. They couldn't talk or move, ever since then she kept her eyes close so it could never happen again.
