Why are her eyes closed?;;
There are many reasons as to why she keeps her eyes closed. Halo, as a child, had a high chance of going blind. She knew this, so she started to close her eyes. Aside from that, she also hated her eyes. She always hated them and never wanted anybody to look at them. She adjusted quickly to keeping her eyes closed. Halo is very sensitive about her eyes and never opens them, unless she is in pain or hurt emotionally. Halo also has an odd obsession with Japanese manga and anime characters that almost always have their eyes closed. This also makes her rather stubborn about her eyes. Nobody has really been able to change her mind, or get her to stop. So they gave up and Halo keeps her eyes closed. Due to her always having her eyes closed, she has great sense of hearing, smell, touch, and taste.

Esme seems to have dropped her glasses. Due to her shockingly poor sight, she must
squint her eyes very close to see even a foot in front of her. She has considered getting

Kriplyana was born with an extremely sensitive left eye. She was very photosensitive and if she saw the Sun enough, she would go blind in her left eye. So, her parents, being the rich helicopter parents they are, sheltered her away in a mountaintop manor where she never saw anything but the light of a lamp. Now that she's older, she has to venture away from her home, and go out into the world. Once she made this transition, she had to keep her eyes closed due to her sensitivity and being used to the cloudy winter sky. She uses a guide to make sure she gets around and makes sure she doesn't get too much light in her eyes.
