My POV

- What does Christmas mean to you?;;

The Christmas season is about family coming together, and for me it's also about plying my wonderful horses with treats (it has to be special for them too, you know?). It seems like today most people are focused on the gift aspect of Christmas and everyone just wants more and more. Christmas needs to be about the giving, and the love, and the ability to share what you can with others. Those small acts of kindness that can potentially brighten someone's day. Even though I don't exactly celebrate Christmas (Yule is where I stand, it's different in a couple aspects) the season is still widespread and even if it's not part of someone's beliefs they should still get caught up in the giving at the close of the year.

- What is your favorite thing about Christmas?;;

Is it silly if I say the weather? The closer it is to Christmas the colder it gets and with a break off from school it's nice to go out and experience weather that's below 90 degrees. During the Christmas season, my family takes numerous trips to parks and sometimes to the beach (to freeze off our feet and have some awesome picture opportunities). It's so much fun to be able to enjoy ourselves outside together, whether with my family, or with my horses, (speaking of which this weather makes them super spunky and my horse is super cute and stud-ly when he's cold) the cold weather is definitely something I look forward to.

Seraphina's POV

- What does Christmas mean to you?;;

To me I believe Christmas is a time of happiness. It seems that around the stables the general mood is more uplifting, and I can't help but get swept up in it. I feel like foal at Christmas time, and no one can seem to help themselves but to join in on the fun!

- What is your favorite thing about Christmas?;;

I would say that it's all the happiness that permeates the stables, but there is one thing I look forward to more... the aurora borealis. I used to not know the name of all those shimmering colours that filled my heart and eyes with joy, but my owner noticed my infatuation with the dancing skies and told me all about them. Little does she know I listened so intently! But yes, the aurora is what I look forward to most in those colder monochrome months, I look for the arrival of colour to watch over me as I sleep.

- Personality;;

Seraphina is a sweetheart. She doesn't even know the meaning of the word cruel and even if she just accidentally trips and bumps into someone she will throw herself into a litany of "I'm so sorry!'s" and ask if she can do anything to make up for her offense. Seraphina loves to give to others, and will often give backscratches to any horse she thinks needs a friend to brighten their day. It's hard to stay mad at such a sweet horse, so Seraphina has no shortage of friends and she makes sure none of them are forgotten or passed aside, and by doing so she manages to make each of them feel special, and to her, they are.
