What is this Belldandy's dream ;;
You ask of me my
goal or purpose in this life?
It's not that simple.
My goal you see, is
this my friend, to fly, to go,
to see hidden sights.
Beauty hidden from
the mortal eye which doesn't
seek it such as I.
My purpose is this.
Approach the world with wonder
and take in beauty,
which others would so
happily ignore, discard
or dismiss away.
I will document
my findings for the world to
know of forever.
For while memory
may fade and sight may falter,
words are eternal.
By writing it down
I trap it's fleeting beauty
in these very pages.
I am a poet
who seeks to write of the world
and the things others
do not see, refuse
to acknowledge or declare
false for their nature.
I write of the truth.
This is my goal and my dream
my purpose is this,
Document life so
it is never forgotten
else it wither 'way.
It's Don's dream to travel around the world and write about his findings. He's always believed in the power of words and he feels like if he writes about the beauty he's seen and shares it, then it won't ever be forgotten.
What is one mistake this Belldandy has made and will forever regret ;;
Nightmares never fade.
Pursuers clad in black hunt me down,
waking and dreaming.
The night it went wrong
will never leave me alone
it dwindles behind,
Dancing across my
mind's eye and taunting my weak
short-coming fate.
It was all my fault.
From the very beginning,
I knew that it was.
When Don was younger he had a friend, another poet like himself, and the two would go out late in the evenings to take leisurely strolls together. One day Don and his friend went out on such an occasion. They went out to a nearby forest to write and chat together. Don's regret isn't anything detrimental to his health, no it's something far less sinister. His greatest regret is not spending more time with his dear friend before the accident occurred. Later in his life Don's friend lost all ability to see the world around him, and as no one knows how belldees truly see, nothing could be done to fix it. Don vowed then that he would write of the beauty in the world so his friend could know of the world's beauty, though he never did forgive himself for not noticing or finding some way to help.
