username;; hey there, i'm ƈⅈℯℓ ♥! i wanted to recommend listening to
this song while you read my form and reading over my story below very slowly so it doesn't get confusing. thank you!
name;; her name is rebecca, but she more commonly goes by the nickname becca.
gender;; i can't see becca as anything but female, though she doesn't mind being identified as male.
item/extra;; the fancy white pen fell from his crafty hands into hers, and becca looked up thankfully into his eyes.
"th-thank you.. so much.." she could feel she was growing nervous around him but she shook it off, stuttering awkwardly and blushing to try and cover up her emotions. "i can finally draw the pictures i've dreamed of drawing for a lifetime. it's so perfect.."
he simply smiled, adjusting his beanie in the wind and shivering though his eyes seemed to glow warmly in respect.
"anything to help you draw. your art is beautiful, i want you to love it as much as i do."
arriving home from school, becca got an idea. she hopped online, pulling up instructions and grabbing some old teal and lime colored boucle yarn that she thought was soft. she began to weave it together, shaping it with her hands until it looked like what she had in mind.
"perfect."
the next day at school, she ran up to her friend.
"i wanted to give you a little something in return for your expensive art pen." she stuttered quickly, shoving a beanie into his hands. his eyes lit up in surprise.
"becca, it's so beautiful! my favorite colors.. how did you know?"
she just smiled, finding a new courage now that she knew he liked it.
"i thought you'd like them, there was just something about you that screamed teal and lime. and i'm very glad that you like it, you'll need it now that autumn is here. it gets quite chilly here and your other beanie isn't very warm. i saw you shivering yesterday.." she saw something in his eyes that told her he loved it more than anything.
"thank you for looking out for me like that. it means a lot.. i was wondering if you wanted to get a coffee with me later?" he asked her cheerfully. there was a hint of begging in his voice, as if he wanted nothing more than to be around her.
"of course! i love coffee.. how did you know?" she responded.
"there was just something about you that screamed 'coffee lover'." they began to laugh, walking to their next class together and joking around.
he ran up to becca as they entered the coffee shop, holding a smaller beanie that looked just like the one she had given him earlier.
"i made this for you so we could match. i love the beanie you made me, and i wanted you to stay warm too.. is that okay?"
becca didn't say a word at first but instead grinned, plopping the beanie on her head.
"of course! i love it, it looks perfect! thank you so much.." her voice stammered and she blushed, turning away. they both smiled shyly, drinking their coffee and enjoying the lovely fall weather as becca thought about what to give him next.
