Octavius is what some would call a stereotype.
In fact, he has been called that right to his face.
Octavius' love for coffee and hipster-esque
items makes him the perfect target for this type of
mockery, much to his annoyance, but nothing he can't handle.
He is reserved, but certainly not shy.
Despite those introverted ways of his,
when he must talk he is incredibly
blunt with what he says, and will always speak his mind.
Octavius believes in balance,
rights for everyone, and truthfulness.
He tries to see others' ways as well as his,
but isn't always accepting of what he disagrees with.
Some think Octavius too stern. He himself feels like it
wouldn't hurt to loosen up a little and be a bit less awkward,
but finds it difficult to joke around without
making a fool of himself.

from her tail. the outside is a
ring of beaten, dark metal. inside
the ring, pointing inwards, are several
crystals in shades of red, orange,
and gold. it reminds arista of
the feel of fall, the old,
regal, heavy weight of it and
the ageless constancy.

in arista's opinion, fall is the most beautiful season of all. in her own words,

"there is just something about autumn that i don't feel in the other seasons. it's nostalgic, ancient yet young, bittersweet, and gorgeous. there is an air of mystery around fall, like it is a riddle for us that we'll never solve. at the same time, it is the most human season. it is full of the reality of mortality, but also the lesson that beauty comes in unexpected ways and at unexpected times.
autumn is the season of the pheonix. it's the fiery beauty of the inferno that consumes life before the ashes of winter and the rebirth of spring and summer. the most magnificent, beautiful part of the cycle, even if it is the saddest.
it reminds us of the good and bad in the world, death and life, beauty and rot.

Name;; Sparrow is the name I have chosen for her.
The markings on her back resemble wings and the
colors themselves are like those of the bird.

Item;; Her item is a simple silver band wrapped
around her tail. This was given to Sparrow, by her
family, on her first Thanksgiving. The band was
crafted on the Autumn Equinox many years ago,
the day her great, great grandmother was born.
For years Sparrow has kept and treasured it,
planning to do the same for many more. It has
an engraving on the inner rim that is not visible
unless the band is taken off and reads;

"Dum spiro , amo."

"While I breathe, I love," in Latin.
