Username;; Hey there! I'm a non-owner named Groenii.
I would love to take this sweetie home, I love the design.
I will try my best ^^.
Name;; I have decided to name this guy Marcus Aurelius. I wanted to use that name because his leaf crown made me think of Roman emperors and he was the first one I thought of. Until I looked up both Marcus and Aurelius and found out that Marcus, though primarily meaning warlike, can also mean polite or shining, as seen in the Bible. What's more, Aurelius actually means "the Golden One" in Latin, which is both a big part of my extra, and a hint at his personality. At least, that's what I perceive it as.
Gender;; male
Item;;
In case it's unclear to see: it's a leaf crown, or a reverse laurel crown if that makes more sense? The black lines are supposed to represent his head, and the brown lines are his hair. His leaf is also on there. It is the last leaf of the crown. I know it is actually supposed to be before the ears instead of behind them. But I messed up. I may fix it if I have time.
Extra (Optional);;A single red leaf floats on the wind and tumbles through the sky floating ever lower and lower. The sun’s warmth is still strong and its light shone on the bright coloured leaves, giving the village and the surrounding forest a red and golden hue. The red leaf continues to drop, floating lightly past the village’s cottages until it lands on the forest road on a kia’s paw. The kia picks the leaf up and looks at it pensively for a moment before he puts the leaf in the leafy crown that adorns his head and continues onwards. The villagers watch the kia’s movements apprehensively.
“Hey…” one whispers while turning to her friend “isn't he that homeless guy? Mar…Marcus something?” “Yeah…” the other replies, “Better be careful around him. He’s a real fruitcake, I heard the other day that he dances around in the forest like a witch or something, calling himself ‘king’ and stuff” the girl replies in an amused tone. “Eww what a creep” the first answers. “I know right” The two say laughing, as they walk away.
The lone kia looks up, a deep loneliness and sadness clouding his face for a brief moment. Then he literally shakes himself, as if to get rid of these feelings, smiles a strong but sad smile. He briskly walks into the ever-changing forest, the sound of his paws muffled on the thick bed of leaves that covers the ground. He looks up at the trees and the filtered light of the bright sun as it shines through the balding branches. As he takes in the simple beauty of the forest, he slowly starts to hum a tune, which gets louder and louder until he starts singing:
“All day long they sing nothing but a hateful tune
To which I'm not immune
Calling me poor and insane
I'm sick and tired of playing their game
But I'm not without hope
I'm now able to cope
Because I'm not as poor as they say
I'm the richest man of today
Because I'm the king of autumn
The bright leaves on the plants
I use them to warm my hands
And the berries and nuts they drop
They are the cherries on top
When the ground starts freezing
I will not be out there sneezing
As long I have my golden leaves to keep me warm
The cold will do me no harm
On my head I wear a crown of leaves
It is the crown of kings you see
So I'm never alone
Because I have all my subjects here in my home
Yes when the leaves fall from the trees
I am the king of autumn”
