My only thing is I'm not understanding this. If she were a rabicano, she'd have those marks... Only dun and buckskins have dark points...? Me knowing this because me and my mother are horse freaks and I asked her about this. Is it a paint marking of some sort?

It is a roan. Not red or chestnut and not dun. Look up roaning colors.
