Story

Melody shifted in the suitcase, her stomach pressed against a heap of clothes. She had slipped into her owner's suitcase for a comfy nap, but now it was bouncing around a bunch, and when she pushed up on the top it didn't open. She pressed on it again and let out a small mew, and although it was muffled, she heard a sharp intake of air. Then there was some more bumping, and then it was still again. She mewed again and the suitcase opened. Sticking her face out, she let her tiny muzzle peek out, twitching her velvety pink nose. Wait. This isn't home!
"Melody, I can't believe you! How did you even get in there? We're almost to New York - I can't take you back now." She let out a long sigh. "Well, I guess I'll have to find a new hotel." Her owner scratched behind her ear, making her purr a little, but then she took out her metal device and started talking into it. Jumping up onto the car seat, she pawed at her owner, begging for more affection. She was ignored.
"I hope you're proud of yourself, Melody. Now I have to worry about you and your antics instead of enjoying my trip." Melody ignored her and crawled back into the suitcase, which her owner ended up leaving open. She shut her eyes and burrowed underneath a cozy pair of warm pajamas, feeling content.
When she awoke again, her owner was in the process of gently picking her up and zipping up the suitcase. She voiced her complaints, but was ignored. Curling up into her owner's arms, she peeked out, her baby blue eyes scanning the room. Rather large, with plenty of places to hide. Storing this into her memory, she snuggled back into the safety of her owner's arms.
Only a few minutes later, Melody was placed on the floor of the room, and she raced inside. She immediately hid under the bed, but got a noseful of dust for her troubles and practically sneezed her way out from under it. Okay, don't hide under the beds.

The small little plumie opened her eyes, she was dizzy and felt a little sick. She looked around and she was in a big enclosed space. She yawned, and started to walk around. Her wobbly legs made her trip a few times, but she got used to the slippery wood flooring. The ceilings were high, and a bright white color. She remembered the last time she had opened her eyes, and she saw a blue sky. She made a sad, squeaky noise, and tried to look for the blue sky again. She saw a clear opening in front of her, so she wanted to see where it went of course, to see if the blue sky was in there. She ran at her maximum speed, she heard loud yelling coming from her human friends, but ignored it. She was on a mission. Then, it hit her... literally. Demi went straight into the glass sliding door. She fell back and slid across the kitchen's clean tile. She looked up at the humans, who were making weird sounds and trying to comfort Demi. She didn't like this attention, so she got up and walked away.

Still looking for the blue sky, she saw a small dog walk through a floppy clear door. Demi tilted her head and walked towards it. She stood there for a while, but then when she hit it with her paw, the door moved open. She walked through cautiously, and found herself in a cold, outdoor place. The sky wasn't blue though, it was black.. maybe dark purple even. She sighed because she thought this is where she's find the blue sky. The dog friend ran inside when the humans yelled something, sounded like Spike... probably his name. So Demi followed the dog friend and didn't know what was going on. The humans were going upstairs, what were stairs even..? A little boy picked up demi, she wanted to bite him, but she was tired still. He walked up the stairs and Demi noticed they were close to the white ceiling, at least closer than they were. She got scared and shivered as she went up. Then the boy set her down on his bed, while he walked out his room to get ready to go to sleep. Demi was about to close her eyes, but when she looked up, she saw a blue ceiling. That must be the blue sky.. she thought. She smiled and slept happily, now knowing about the blue sky.

Story; Nina grew up in a somewhat abusive family. No violence or anything, just lack of care. Half the time, they forgot that she was there. Sometimes when they went out, they forgot she was there and just left her, So she just ignored them to. Nina went somewhat depressed for a while, until she found your BFF Jay. Nina and Jay connected the moment they saw eatchother. They shared so many intrests, it was almost like they were Twins! Nina never told Jay about her parents, and she avoided and made excuses so Jay wouldn't come and meet her family. Nina eventually told Jay. Jay was shocked, and ended up telling her parents. Jay and her parents offered for Nina to 'live' with them. Basically she had a sleep over almost everyday. Nina was so happy, with her best friend Jay and no worries about being left alone again. From then on, Nina was more happy then she could've wished for!

Story;
When I was little, I never, ever was too interested in Western culture. I think I loathed it at one point, too. And then, there I was, staying in an American hotel. It was even one of those crappy hotels! Everyone else just loved America, but I didn't like it at all as a kid. Thinking back on it, I can't remember my motive behind hating it so much.
Steaming, I began unpacking my clothes and putting them away. Itchy wool and smooth satin rubbed against my skin irritatingly until I shoved them into the drawers. My sister, snickering and gloating, stuck her big and annoying head through the doorway.
"Having a fun time, Jirou?" she teased in English. I scowled and threw a shirt at her after slamming the drawers shut. The giggling sister dodged as the dresser began to fall forward.
Mortal terror was written plainly on my face as I scampered out of the way. My sister's delight just grew as I was almost flattened. "Looks like you just lost all your luck!" She pointed to shattered glass. My mom's maneki-neko just got crushed.
"Just go away, Keiji! You know I'm not superstitious like Mom!"

{{ ｎａｍｅ This little plumie's name is Birk. It is a name of Scottish origins which means "birch." He was named for his silver colouring after the silver birch tree. Some of his friends also just call him Birch.

{{ ｐｐｓ？ Birk wishes he was PPS so he could stay a kid forever, but Birk is not PPS and will grow.

{{ ｓｔｏｒｙ A small plumerian leaned over the bow of the ship, shouting his farewells to the crowd gathered on the docks below. Over the plumie's shoulder, a large sailing boat could be seen. Its polished wood gleamed with sea spray and its might masts stretched up into the sky which crisp white sails billowed like clouds. The plumie's name was Birk, and he was ready for the adventure of his life out on the open seas. As the boat drew out of the marina and into the open ocean, the grey plumerian laughed with glee. The whole world was at his paws. Another plumerian, his cabin-mate, handed him a small sailor's hat, "Welcome aboard little one, welcome to the best trip of your life!" The adult plumerian shouted to him.

He proudly put his new hat on his head and tucked one of his soft, floppy ears under it to try keep it from blowing away. He watched eagerly over the side of the boat, the sparkling blue ocean dashed past and sea spray settled in his fur. After hours of watched the stretch of crystalline sea rush past, the Captain called out for them to look to the port side, a pod of dolphins! Birk have a noise of glee and watched the dolphins as they leaped out of the water and landed back with a splash, it seemed like they were playing together! Birk pulled out a book his mother had given him before he left just for writing all the things that happened so he'd always remember it. He scribbled down a messy dolphin picture and wrote a little about the playful creatures.

The boat had slowed as evening fell, the sky illuminated the sea to the west brilliant streaks of red and gold which blurred into the sky on the horizon. Birk felt the ship slow further and come to a stop, drifting on the waves. An eerie silence had fallen over the deck and Birk look around with concern; what was happening. The silence what shattered by a great roaring sound and a gigantic creatures thrashed around in the water. A sea monster! Birk tried to get a closer look, and it was a huge dinosaur-like monster with gnashing fangs and claws. He shouted and protested as the older crew tried to shepard him away from the monster which struck at the boat with its massive flippers. It grabbed a man of the desk and tossed him into the water, the ships swayed and rocked from the waves the monster was causing. Birk tossed rubbish towards the creature and it stopped. "Leave us alone!" He shouted, "We're brave adventurers, not food!" The creature withdrew to the depths once again. Birk did it! He saved the day!

Birk lifted his head, feeling groggy and his eyes filled with sleep. "Birk," A voice floated down to him, and something shook his shoulder. "I saved you," He murmured sleepily as he woke up more. "Sure you did sprout, we're almost at the next port." It was his cabin mate waking him up. "Where's the monster? Why isn't the boat damaged?" He cried in confusion. Had it all been just a dream? He sighed with disappointment. "Don't worry lad, there's plenty more sea creatures out there," His cabin mate said with a wink and went off to help dock the boat. Birk smiled, it was only the beginning and there was plenty more saving for him to do, his crew mate had said! He hoped up to see if he could help and dreams of sea monsters and the world ahead swarmed in his young mind.
