┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┙ ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┑The Adopter
Hello, I am Ampersand!
I am the proud owner of one Kiamara,
Pastel! I fell for this boy as soon as
I saw him, and I hope I can have
the privilege of winning him.
The rest of this form will be from
Tōlavi's point of view.┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┙

My Name
"The name simply means 'Failure'
in my native language. I was the first son
born to a powerful king and queen that
already had 4 daughters. I was intended
to carry the family name proudly and
fiercely, one day taking over the throne
as king. Unfortunately I was born unusually
small and weak. When my father first set
eyes on me, he flew into a fit of rage.
Furious, he named me Tōlavi, saying
"I have fallen into miserable failure.""

The Beads
"As a young Kiamara, I ran away from the pressures and scathing eyes of
my family and struck out on my own as an outlaw. Angry at my family for putting
me down all those years, I chose five coloured beads, each one representing a
different 'failure'. One bead is the color of freshly drawn blood, representing
my physical weakness. Another is the color of the morning sun,
representing my small size, the next the color of the storm-bound ocean,
representing my cowardice. The fourth bead is the color of new leaves,
representing my incompetence, and the fifth and final bead the color of the black abyss
my family's lack of love had left inside of me. Every morning I see those beads,
reminded of how my family always told me that I would amount to nothing.
Every morning I put them on, believing I could be so much more than what they told
me I would be. On that day, I made a promise to myself that i would never become what
my family told me I would. I would never again be chastised for my weakness.
Never again would they tease me for my cowardice. Never again would people
tell me that I was a failure. I made it my mission to prove them wrong by becoming everything
they said I couldn't be."
