I have lived for a thousand years, perhaps more.
I haven't aged a day past six years old, but I am as wise as the
sun and as observant as the moon. Nobody believes a child, nobody
believes that one as I has watched the earth crumble and fall,
and can sense it coming again. I am the joker, just a liar and a
firetongue - I live only to mock in their eyes.
Oh no, if only they could really see; for a thousand years I have
lived, watching, waiting, becoming wise. I can see what they
cannot and I can speak the fears hidden behind their eyes.
Time is a brutal thing.
