Huckleberry, much like his namesake, is a boy of adventure. He spends most of his time outside, usually hunting for frogs and lizards in the big yard outside his home in the country.
He acts like a young child, and is fascinated with the smallest things. A cool butterfly. The way the water moves. He never tries to wrestle with a camera to capture these moments, instead choosing to simply revel in the moment. His hobby is searching for these lovely moments in time to call his own. In the summer of 2013, he vowed to do a different thing each day. One night he slept under the stars, dozing off counting them. Another day he jumped in the lake from as high up as he's ever dove in. On the fourth of July, he helped set off some fireworks, then watched them burst into a million colors in the sky above his head.
He's already made a list of what he wants to do this winter. Anyone who didn't know him would shake their head and say he won't have time or energy. But if you knew Huck, you'd know he can pull off anything if he sets his mind to it.
He tries to get some friends to tag along on these "adventure a day" bits, but since he never stops for a break, he wears them out easily. He loves new friends, and will try to plan extra fun and elaborate adventures to show just how fun his little hobby is.
Often, though, Huck enjoys the little things. He has a particular love for fireflies, swimming, ice cream, and Christmas. He doesn't need a big elaborate adventure plan to come up with something new to do each day. This is his hobby; adventure and exploration of the wonders of life, both big and small.
