Equid's Name: Soryn
Age: 4 years
Height: 12.3hh
Sex: Stallion
Personality:So long; Im sorry. x3
Domestic;
- I chose for Soryn to be Domestic; due to his high stature that he keeps himself to; if this boy were to be in the wild, hes surely be killed and devoured within days; He could not keep himself alive; drinking that filthy water from a large pond; not to mention that other horses go in there and play. Dont even get him started on the grass either.
Genteel; polite, refined, or respectable
- Soryn believes that one should always put another before himself; no matter the consequence. He loves to hold himself to high standers around others; proving that he is indeed a king.
Regal;
- Soryn does his best to act so. He doesn't want to be seen in the public's eye as unfit to rule. He believes that he is dignified in his work as a Harness Dressage Equid; and always makes sure that he is groomed to perfection. If there happened to be any dirt on his coat when hitching him to his gear; he would throw a tantrum.
Caring;
- When not in the ring or in the general public's eye, Soryn is quite the caring stallion, and playing along to his Genteel side, he'll go out of his way to make any others day better. Besides other stallions; he isn't allowed near them. Though geldings, mares and foals alike are more than welcome in his presence.
Intelligent;
- This stud thinks a lot, on how to wow the crowd more next time he preforms; and when it comes down to it, how to make someones day brighter. Though many do not know, by how this stud acts, he is quite intelligent, and can carry on very intellectual conversations with others of the same stature. Though of course, he is also capable of having the general small talk, and has even been known to carry on 'baby talk' with newborns.
Graceful;
- Soryn's muscle mass contributes very well to his coat, giving him the proper self-carriage he needs for Harness Dressage; though he often preforms more freely and passionately in his small paddock; simply because he does not have the carriage behind him, he is able to extend much father. Because of these restraints, he is often a specticle to watch in the paddocks and warm up areas; though somewhat dismal in the arena. He is however very self-confident in his movements, and trys not to show off how capable his is, due to not wanting to leave his current home.
Through all of these great things about Soryn; it is hard to think that he has any down falls; though he has many, and doesn't like to admit them.
Inarticulate; unable to speak distinctly or express oneself clearly.
- Through all of the grace, intelligence and more of this stud; he has a hard time expressing his feeling towards another; particularly love and friendship. Because of his outwardly public appearance, Soryn has found that friends are a hard thing to find; and values them even more. Because friends are hard for him to gain; it often leads him into a bit of depression, and even thinking about finding the right mare for him is a distant dream that may never come true.
Amenable; (of a person) open and responsive to suggestion; easily persuaded or controlled.
- Much to Soryn's surprise; he has gained one or two friends over his life span thus far; though only to his dismay, they have only betrayed him; to learn what makes him so special in the show ring, or simply because the other has a knack for leading others on. Because of this; it has led Soryn to become very gullible; being led into tricks and gulls.
Strict;
- Soryn has quite the set of rules when it comes to days with schedules, such as show days, shipping days and medication days. Little to his owners notice, Soryn becomes very agitated when something takes to long, or not long enough. These moments usually lead to temper-tantrums and an over-rated attitude for the day. Though he isn't strict with much else; one thing he hates most of all is being late to the next task.
Though Soryn is quite the equid, mostly in his mind, he can be found frowning quite a lot, failed shows, a mare turned him down, or even as he thinks about all of the times he had been hood-winked. On the days when Soryn acts as such, he has quite a short fuse, and hates to be interrupted. If interrupted; he usually shows his displeasure by a display of manliness; i.e rearing and stamping the ground repeatedly.
Soryn is quite the hot-head before he goes into the show ring; as just about any other show horse would be. He is often found prancing in place, rearing ever so slightly, and even kicking or striking out. Because he holds himself to such manners, he does his best not to hurt himself. During these times, Soryn has very bad self-control. Though perhaps as he ages, this will change.
Through the good and the bad; Soryn holds himself to high standards, but can be brought down with words and actions easier than most. He has a heart full of Gold, and most of it has been taken, resulting in his short-fuse and temper-tantrums. He is a great Equid to know; and doubts ever settling down; due to the many harsh moments he has had with others.
I tried a type of poem called Villanelle.
To adhere to my daily plan,
I need everything right,
To keep my attention span.
Before my life can begin
I must learn to act as a knight,
And to adhere to my daily plan.
That particular Con-man,
He turns my insides white,
I need everything right.
To be such a young man,
Im not sure i'll be alright,
To adhere to my daily plan.
To please my adoring fan,
I will never bite,
I need to keep my attention span.
To make my owner a rich man,
I know now everything will be alright,
I need to adhere to my daily plan,
And to keep my attention span.
