Yvette is not afraid to tell people what he wants and when he wants it. He wants things his way and he's not afraid to manipulate others to get what he wants. Of course, he's not always the best at it and he's usually caught in the lies that he creates. If you're looking for blunt honest about how you look, Yvette is the stallion to look for, he's not afraid to tell others what he thinks of them, especially if it's someone he doesn't like. However, once you gain his trust, which is hard to do, you'll find out that he's actually softer than he appears to be. He has a soft spot for cute baby animals, especially puppies. He's also really picky about the way he looks, his mane must be styled exactly the way that he likes it otherwise he refuses to be seen by anyone else. Once Yvette makes a decision, it's finite. There's no changing his mind, it's almost as if he likes being stubborn. He has a bad habit of being unaware of when he goes too far. There are times when he's made others cry when he didn't really mean it and he's always awkward when that happens. He's used to being defensive and on "attack mode" all the time, so whenever it's time to apologize he locks up and tends to stutter because he honestly doesn't know what to do half of the time. As far as athleticism goes, he's not as strong as he'd like to be but where he lacks in strength, he makes up in speed. He competes in races from time to time and on average earns from fourth to second place. While Yvette may make up small fibs and may be manipulative, while he's competing, he doesn't believe in anything besides a fair match. He's proud to say that he has never resorted to cheating and he never plans to. Additionally, Yvette has a great dislike for people who people who lie to him, which is a little hypocritical because he'll turn around and do the same thing. Yvette also dislikes people who are overly excited and/or overly happy. He's not necessarily a downer, he's just a realist.

Optimistic
Dastan is the type to always look on the bright side of life. No matter what troubles he may face, he never lets negative things get to him, or bring his mood down. His sunny disposition means that he always has something to look forward to. Dastan will always try to cheer up a chum who's looking glum - and nine times out of ten he will succeed in bringing a smile bck onto their face.

Thoughtful
Dastan has a very giving and sympathetic character- showing genuine interest and concern for others. Occassionaly, he may lack the persistence to follow through with his good intentions but luckily he is very adept at inspiring good feelings and actions in others who can help carry him along.

Relaxed
Dastan is very slow to anger, and reluctant to express it when it arises. As a result he tends to come across as too placid and seem like a bit of a pushover - but it's just that he would much rather forgive and forget than harbour a grudge until it festers. The stallion knows that there are two sides to every situation - and somewhere in the middle their is the truth. His relaxed nature enables him to be seen as a trustworthy character, as he never angers and is rarely judgemental.

Easy-Going
Generally, he is very laid back about life and don't really see a need to be overly serious about things. He often leans towards the easiest route or option in any situation - even if it is perhaps not the most intelligent decision. Sometimes, Dastan may come across as lacking motivation, but in truth, he will complete any task given to him - no matter how long it takes him.

Pioneering
Dastan is interested in the new and the different. Whatever it is, if he hasn't experienced it before, you can count on the fact that he'll want to give it a try. He enjoys meeting other equids, and indeed any other creatures. He thrives amongst crowds and participating in activities where he can learn about new things, environments and perspectives.

Social
Dastan is naturally good-natured and extremely sociable. He is easy to get along with, and is generally pretty popular with everyone he meets. Making new buddies is a favourite pasttime of his, as is sharing funny stories with all his freinds, both new and old. Dastan is also loyal to a fault, also to those he just met; the fact that he is an open book for everyone to read is just as negative a trait as it is a positive one - for it leaves him vulnerable to getting hurt.

Spontaneous
He is full of energy and loves the thrill of new adventures. But that energy isn't always completely constructive. Dastan's spontaneity and impulsiveness means that it's sometimes all too easy to drop those serious, unglamorous tasks for the promise of a good time. He rarely ever plans anything and will wrinkle his nose when he is forced to 'put on his serious face' by another herd member.

Dreamer
Dastan tends to get overly excited by the prospect of new ideas and ways of seeing the world, but he also tends to lose his way in theoretical possibilities and flights of fancy. He is a fantastic starter but a not so great finisher. Alas, no one can fault his enthusiasm and ability to thrive in the uncertainty of the new.

Resilient
Dastan is always able to see the funny side of life and laugh off difficulties when they arise. He is very adaptable, and doesn't view problems as things to stop him but as opportunities to inspire him to come up with creative solutions - and of course some humour.

Personality: Like his name suggests, Regent is a very proud stallion. He takes pride in everything that he does, and is also the most outgoing member of his herd. Because of this confidence, Regent tends to be arrogant, assuming that everyone he speaks to wants to know about his accomplishments. This arrogance is not malicious however, and when his attention is drawn to it, Regent will tone it down as much as he can. He is just as interested in the accomplishments of others as well, meaning that many of his herd members are excited to tell him when they've achieved a goal since he will cheer along with them without turning the conversation to himself.

Regent is also a very charismatic stallion. He can get other equids on "his" side with just a few words, and most of the members of his herd would follow him in a heartbeat if he asked them to. The stallion does not abuse this trust, proving that he is an asset to the herd, not a burden. Despite the ease with which he could achieve it, Regent has no interest in leading a herd of his own. He does not want that level of responsibility on his shoulders, so he is perfectly happy to remain a low level stallion in another's herd. Part of the reason he is so charismatic is his compassion. This stallion's heart is huge and he is always there when someone needs help. He understands the difference between empathy and sympathy, and is always willing to lend a shoulder for a herd mate to cry on. He is one of the members of the herd that others go to when they need someone to talk to, and he has never minded this.

As well as being a friendly face, Regent is highly adaptable. He tends to just go with the flow of things, so change isn't too big of an issue for him. Rather than fear change, he sees it as an exciting opportunity that he looks forward to. He is aware that other members of his herd struggle with it, so he makes sure to be there for them and to comfort them whenever he can. One change that he is not so optimistic about however is leadership changes in the herd. Regent is not very trusting of other stallions when he first meets them, and he has been known to test the limits with them, sometimes escalating to fights. One thing he does not tolerate is stallions being overly harsh with the mares of the herd. Regent has been known to throw himself into a fight to protect a mare, and he willingly admits that he would do it time and time again.

This equid cannot stand silence. If there is no activity going on around him, he becomes extremely anxious and can be seen snorting and pawing at the ground to make some kind of noise. No one is sure why the lack of noise bothers him, especially since Regent will avoid the question if asked. He will change the subject or simply explain that he does not feel comfortable discussing the reasons behind his psyche. Many believe this is because he does not know, and ignorance is one thing this stallion will not tolerate from himself.

All in all, Regent is a very happy-go-lucky stallion who is fun to be around!

Personality: Wildfire is exactly what his name suggest. A fighter, a warrior, a survivor. He shines out like a shaft of gold when all is dark, and danger seems to be imminent. He has always been known to fight back in times of despair. He bites back, the bullet between his teeth. Anything that causes him or his herd trouble is dealt with quickly. He is firm, but is not aggressive, as he has a huge soft spot. Don't let the other stallions know that! He is like a piece of caramel chocolate, a hard shell on the outside, but a soft caramel center. He is hardy and durable, and accepts all the challenges that the temperamental weather and earth throws at him. Wildfire is a natural born leader, but is honest and down to earth. He was born a leader and will die a leader, and always stays by his herd. Or, at least, they stay by him to keep up. He is a protector and a guardian, and will never leave his herd out on their own. He is passionate about the horses he loves, and his life evolves around them all.

He might seem like that little nugget of gold in a mine full of coal, huh? Well, everyone has their weakness. He's super egotistic when it comes to other stallions during the spring. He can't help it. Wildfire is in his prime, so can get quite competitive with other stallions. Many other horses find him slightly annoying. He always seems to be everywhere at once, and no where when you need him. He is loud and makes a statement, kicking up dust as he skitters away. Older horses may think of him as a rowdy youngster, upsetting horses in his path. But the truth is he honestly means no trouble at all. He doesn't mean it, but he seems to never really grow up. He may understand that taking on a whole herd is a huge deal, but he doesn't seem to understand the full responsibilities. He is quite good at leading a herd, but it can sometimes just pass over his head.

I guess you could say that Wildfire has the ability to outrun anything. He is quick and swift, always on the move. He's full of fire and spark, passionate about living life to the fullest. He is tough and sturdy, but isn't your 'jack of all trades' stallion. Wildfire is a quick thinker, and can come up with a solution to many sticky situations quickly. He is a valued leader; many horses would love to join his herd, but only if they find him. He tends to keep his group small, and takes them to the multiple hiding spots that can be found in the mountains. He is an explorer at heart, and has enough guts to give anything a go.

Wildfire is full of ambition and hope. He has great plans for the future, and knows he wants to share his future with the perfect mate for life.

The Predator.

In summertime, when the birds sing songs,
The wild horse, young and spirited runs.
Chestnuts, dapples, soft summer coats
Pearly greys, bays and duns.

Mane in the wind a banner,
Hooves - rocks, solid and strong.
Leaving imprints in the soil,
Stamps on paper they run.

The clang of iron shod horse hooves,
and stockwhips fill the air,
Snorting and stamping, the horses flee,
In fear and in despair.

The smell of sweat and men and horses,

Ruuxii is borderline schizophrenic. he feels physically detached from his surroundings, his body a "ghost" while his mind is the real being. He lives inside his head, where he believes there is no existing problem. Outside of his mind, he is aware of his mental state and is frightened by it, causing him to retreat back into the safety of his thoughts (where I'm happy, where I'm normal). Ruuxii struggles constantly with his two states of being, finding it harder to hang on to the real world (I'm lifted off my feet and told- I'm not a ghost).

[The One & Only Vapor]

Equid's Name: Salbiaren {meaning "sage boy", for his eyes, in Basque <3}

Personality: Salbi is a very secretive equid. He hoards his secrets like dragons hoard jewels, and they are thrice as precious to him. In addition to tracking down secrets he isn't aware of, Aren deals in secrets, his profit is secrets, and if necessary, he makes his own twisted offers to fulfill his own desires for secrets. Prying the unknown out of any equid he spies, Salbi knows anything and everything about every wild equid in the radius of a hundred miles, and many of the domestics in the vicinity as well. Not only does he know everything, but he knows it as soon as it happens, thanks to his sly wit and skill. Oddly, he never feels guilty about digging up the dirt on anyone, at least not outwardly- his glinting, sage-green eyes hide any shred of emotion from the world.

Cunning though he is, Salbi isn't vicious or mean. It's true that he is stubborn and selfish, but there is no evil in his heart. The stallion only knocks up other equids for information because he's not power-hungry, but learning-hungry. While Salbiaren is a truly bright equid, he lives in complete solitude, meaning he does not and indeed never has had a mentor to teach him even the simplest tips about the natural world. From a very young age, he decided that it was best to live solitary, as he would only be responsible for himself, and not feel guilty if another of his herd members was injured. While he still lives that way, Salbi does often regret his choice, and so commits himself to learning and divulging the secrets of all of the equids around him in order to make up for the time he lost with his herdmates.

As aforementioned, Salbiaren often feels guilty when another being- equid or other, it makes no difference to him- is sick or injured. Perhaps he's strongly empathetic, or maybe he's just disappointed in the ending of a life. However, Salbi never lets his emotions get him down, as he is a character that likes to keep life moving. Among many, he believes that dwelling on the past is bad for one's health; and so throughout his still-young life, Salbi has refused to let himself become depressed.

Due to the solitary way in which Aren lives, he is not used to being questioned or challenged. He has long thought of himself as an authority figure, even when no other living creatures are seen. Unfortunately, this has led to a rather selfish way of living for Salbi- he thinks that whatever he can find is his, and will not hesitate to take from others if he believes it will benefit him. His mindset is "If it's not mine, it can be mine," and this applies to the mental states of fellow equids as well as their physical attributes. Already Salbi's skill and cunning have lent him the ability to trick other equids into unwittingly doing his bidding, getting whatever he likes done and simultaneously not letting them know they have done him a favor. Therefore, his ego has steadily been blown larger and larger, and he isn't used to having his orders repeated back to him or being bossed around.

Salbi's outer appearance isn't all there is to him, though. Yes, he's stubborn and proud and has a big ego, but Salbiaren also has an air of elegance about him. wip
