but her nickname is meant to evoke the image of the
Irish trickster faeries of old.

A contradictory creature, the Púca. Mischievous and playful one minute,
vengeful and sullen the next. And this parra is no exception to the traditional
definition of this Irish faerie. She conceals her true nature of vehemency and
aloofness with a mischievous exterior meant to lure in and comfort others.
Púca is not without compassion though, and can be found helping those in
dire need. She also gives wise and sage advice to others, and is hailed to
be a prophet in certain regions of the world. Neither malevolent or
benevolent, she searches for her own place to call home.
